This was one of the best dining experiences of my life. We discovered 336 Korean BBQ by accident, it was 9pm on a Tuesday night, we were starving and planning to eat somewhere nice, and I saw this place was open until 1030pm. We arrived at the restaurant and i was not immediately impressed, since it's in a strip mall, but it looked nice and I was hopeful. Once we walked through the entrance doors we were no longer in a strip mall, we were in 336 Korean BBQ, which could easily be located anywhere in the world and be successful. The entire experience was amazing, the waitress set the tone for the evening, she was the best. She was very polite and attentive and just went above and beyond ensuring that we were having a special night. The best part is that we didn't even tell her that we were celebrating a special night, she just went above and beyond. The food was seriously some of the best food I have ever enjoyed in my life!! Sometimes when you go to a nice restaurant you are paying for the location and the food is just average, not here! The inside of the restaurant is very nice, very relaxing, and the food is phenomenal. I have been to Korean BBQ places before, I have enjoyed tons of Korean food in my life, but 336 Korean BBQ is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my entite life. I don't normally write reviews, but when I woke up the day after dining here and I still felt so positive about the experience I had to share it with the world. I am already telling all of my friends and family about or wonderful dinner. I can't...
Read moreFound this place after a bit of browsing around and it looked new so decided to give it a try. Came in as a group of 3 total. We were in about an hour to closing.
Service was stellar. The host quickly accommodated us to a table and waiter came to assist us. He was young and he asked if it was our first time here and if we had done Korean BBQ before. He was very kind and he kept an eye on our table to make sure everything was good. Not once did we feel like we were being rushed and we got everything very promptly. They also said good bye to us on the way out and made us feel at home.
Food was just amazing! The meats were very good! We had the pork belly and shoulder and beef brisket. They also grilled some veggies like onions, kimchi, zucchini if not mistaken, etc. We also had the lettuce with some garnishes to make wraps with. We also got the rice with like a soybean soup if I remember clearly. Soup was very hearty and tasty. Also some Cass beer was ordered for the table. For a new place and being here first time my expectations were exceeded by ten fold.
Inside ambience was very inviting. Nothing too crazy but very modern and cozy. It was very open as well so we didn’t feel crammed at all. The bathroom was clean too!
If you’re in the area, stop in! Hopefully doesn’t get ruined by hype from...
Read moreWe come to Hmart Niles occasionally, and since we live in Milwaukee, we always try to stop over and get a meal after shopping. We came here once and liked it. But this night was a horrible experience for us. The service is bad when it's busy. When we first came in, we were just told to sit and wait, they said about 20 minutes. We were in queue number 2, while there were about 5 groups at that time. Until we saw some people getting numbers and we were skipped by several groups. We asked the cashier again if we needed a number, but they said "no". We sat back down, while at that time we had been waiting for 30 minutes. Again there were groups cutting us off. And a girl came to us and asked "are you this number?" Then we said "we didn't get a number" And she apologized to us and said "the queue should always use a number". Then we protested "why did the other employees say not to use a number and to just wait?" Then she said "I will prioritize you after this for the next table" After watching everyone who came in after us get tables or numbers, we finally got a number too. 45 minutes waiting is okay, but we waited 45 without any clarity. Even though we were tired and hungry we sat down and ate. We will...
