
We ordered food for delivery last week from this restaurant. We have ordered from here several time because the food tastes good. Unfortunately, one out of the four orders from last week was incorrect. I called to report it and they said they will give me a free BIG PLATE as a credit for the next time I order from them. The lady told me to call them directly next time to order and not go through an online delivery service to get my free BIG PLATE credit. Today, we decided to order from this restaurant again. I called the restaurant to order (as per her instructions) and to claim our free BIG PLATE for delivery. She said they do not deliver directly only for pick up. I said she told me last week to call her directly if we wanted to order again so how does she expect me to order if it cannot be delivered directly? Anyway, I told her that I wanted to claim my BIG PLATE credit but with a different entrée this time because the person who ordered it wants to try something new. She said NO, we can only give you the same entrees that were not delivered accurately last week. I said but that was last week, the person does not want the same food anymore, but we still want a BIG PLATE with a different entrée (this wont even change the price!). She said NO that cant be. It has to be the exact same dishe as last week. I was so disappointed by the low level of customer service they have. First of all, they screwed up the delivery order last week. Second, they refused to give the money back but instead give me a BIG PLATE CREDIT. Now that I want to claim that credit, I AM NOT ALLOWED to change the dish. Third, she is telling me it has to be for picked up and cannot be delivered. UNBELIEVABLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOUR RESTARANT TO ANYONE! Learn better customer service skills! The money should have been given back in the first place! Not as a specific meal credit that I cannot change to a different entrée combination with the same price! Read moreWell, to start with, I found this place in my neighborhood amd went there since I was searching for a good Indian restaurant and the hospitality they provide. I went there for the fieat time and that was my biggest mistake!! I went there to take buffet with my wife and was not able to find paneer in matar paneer curry (which is normal, that happens!), so I decided to ask the waitress for the same. She said she will do it in 5 mins. 10 mins passed and I went again to the waitress. At that time, she gave me a glare as of I am a beggar. She said it already there so I went again to see but it wasn't there. I went again and told them that I can wait till the time they are preparing it. At that time, me and wife were standing near the buffet area, and watress begin to chatter in there local language (Nepali). Luckily, my wife knows Nepali and got to know that they were abusing us and telling that these people dont have money to buy paneer curries and comes in buffet and eat up all there paneers for free. This is the worst experience I got in any of the restaurant in my whole life. We informed manager and he told us that they were just telling that as joke and people here comes and ear 10 gulab jamuns for free. Ofcourse, after that we left the place without eating and paying the bill :) The type of hospitality we received was to be precise 'disastrous'. What if my wife wasn't there? Read moreIf you would like to get disrespected by the checkout girls and the general manager not smile or acknowledge you are there as a customer then this is the place for you to go. I was at there Niles location about a week ago and placed a order for a couple of things including a bread basket with out butter. Once I picked up the food I doubled checked the bread basket to make sure there was no butter margarine or oil on the bread basket as I've had problems before with them putting that on there. Surely enough they messed up again and I told the lady who rung me out about the mishap. She started looking into her computer as she thought I was lying to her and I even showed her my receipt that said no butter, margine,oil. In return she started to blame me and told me I should've been more stern and told them more than once I didn't want that on there, I told the person I gave my order to 3 times how I want my bread basket done and she still messed up. Next time I'll go in the kitchen and make the stuff myself she had no professionalism and wanted to blame me on there screw up, this isn't the first or second time it has happened to me where they screw up my order. And the general manager or the manager that works at niles location is so un happy, never smiles at anyone and has a very nasty look on his face that makes the grinch look nice. And again it's the same thing like the food I've been there multiple of times and every time he is there he has no personality and is rude.
