This review is for my experience checking out at the cashier on Monday Nov. 9 2020 around 1:40pm. I was buying a new wardrobe rack which came in a heavy box that I put in a cart. I got in line and there was an older woman in front of me. As the older woman was finishing checking out I thought to prepare, since there was a line of customers behind me, to make the checkout process faster. I asked the cashier, Patricia, a simple question, if she wanted me to roll the cart around to her side of the counter when its my turn so she can easily scan the barcode on the box since it was heavy and not have to reach over the counter. The cashier, Patricia, snapped at me saying the older woman in front of me hadn't finished paying yet, which obviously I knew since she was in front of me. I didn't respond. Then again, she snapped at me to stand on the circle on the ground that shows where I should be standing (Covid 6ft markers stores put on the floor). I looked down and I was already standing on it so I told her, at which point she rolled her eyes. As the older woman in front of me finished up and left, Patricia, took the scanner and just stood there. So I ask again, "Would you like me to bring the cart around so you can scan it?". Her response with attitude was "Of course, how else do you think I would scan it". Now, at this point, this cashier has been rude to me the whole time without reason. I even heard the whispers of the two women behind me saying how rude she was acting. I'm not the type to make someone's job to be harder, but I'm also not the type to be talked down to. So I responded with a sarcastic tone I'll admit, "Well, that's why I was asking if you wanted me to roll the cart around earlier". She didn't respond this time. She scanned the box and rung me up. Gave me the receipt, I grabbed my cart, I looked at her name tag and said "Patricia, right?" and walked away out the store. I would've spoken to the manager about the cashier with attitude but I was busy...
Read moreI actually came here with one of my clients because he needed to buy some things prior to his upcoming trip to Washington DC. I personally didn't buy anything, but I did get the chance to look around at the men's section at some of the clothing items that I personally liked.
I honestly never been too fond of shopping heavily at target, but they do have a select few casual clothing items that I like, which this location was typical to the others i have visited in the past. I tend to love looking at the DC/Marvel Comic t-shirt selections as always, which never let's me down. Another thing that I have to say about this location is that they have a great selection of men's hats, such as Fedora's & Goodfellow hat's, which was an attention grabber.
Furthermore, while walking to the register I was acknowledged, and greeted by one of the employees, which from my observation many that I encountered at this location seemed to be at the college level, and mature.
Not a bad location, but as for returning, I highly doubt I will because I live on a totally different side of town and really have no need to visit unless I'm in the area and needed something that I knew they had or I just happen to return with one of my clients, which is a slim...
Read moreI WILL NEVER SHOP AT TARGET AGAIN! I'm standing in the checkout line ready to pay for my stuff with a gift card. The cashier (who doesn't speak English very well) tries to convince me to sign up for a 5 % discount. I kept saying no, but she wouldn't stop. So I said fine, because there was a long line behind me. She takes down my information. Next thing I know she tells me she just signed me up for a target credit card (red card) and charged all my stuff to it. I go home and call the number on the receipt to cancel it and they tell me I have to call back in 24 hours for the transaction to go through. I call back the next day and they say call back in another 24 hours. Finally I get ahold of someone on the 3rd try. They tell me they'll cancel the credit card as long a I fill out a form they'll send me and return it to them. They wouldn't let me pay the balance on the credit card with my gift card. So basically they stole almost $80 from me and refused to give it back. WHAT...
