UPDATE 5/13/2025 - Dear Ashley Furniture Owner - please be advised that I have contacted the below-mentioned Customer Svc. number last week, per your response below, and as of today nothing has been resolved, nor did your Customer Svc. rep contacted me back as she told me they would get back to me within 24 hours with a solution. After this final attempt to Customer Svc, I continue to have no faith and confidence that Ashley Furniture is going to follow through on their word. This is unacceptable service, and with that said, I will no longer shop at Ashley Furniture for anything!
In late December 2024 I purchased two love seats under the condition that they would order me the same sofa fabric color throw pillows which the sales person said would be no problem and would order the same fabric throw pillows to make a sale. It is now May 7, 2025, and I have yet to receive the two last throw pillows out of four. Yes, it's been 5 months later and this store has yet to deliver on their word that I would get the pillows. It's been a 5-month frustration with the staff, as well as the store manager, Taj, who have been telling me the same story that the pillows have been placed and could not give me a timeframe when they would arrive. Well, after 3 months, they called me to say that two of the four pillows arrived and I can come pick them up. When I got to the store, I told the manager it's been over 3 months I have been waiting for the four pillows and couldn't understand why two pillows slipped away from the order if supposedly the virtual manager placed the order for the four pillows. I told the manager I would have never purchased the couches if your store was not able to deliver their word on the matching sofa fabric pillows because that is what I wanted, and went on to say that your sales person, Victoria, checked with her manager to make sure the store was able to deliver on my request which she confirmed and then placed order on the loveseats. To this date (5 months later), I have not received the last two throw pillows and the store manager, Taj, is not responding to my last email I sent him last week. I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture, and will let my family and friends know; that is, if shopping for furniture, to avoid having to shop at Ashley Furniture because it's not right that this store misleads customers with their sales pitch words and CAN'T deliver. This store has put me through so much frustration that after 5 months of waiting and still haven't received my last two throw pillows, they have worn out my patience and decided to write review now as I feel that I'm never going to see the other two matching throw pillows. This store gave me false hope and this is not acceptable. If I was able to give this store a "0" star, that is what I would have prefer to give this store as they mislead me to false hope just to make the sale at the time of purchase...

My husband and I purchased a new master bedroom set (mattress, bedframe, chest of drawers, dresser & mirror, and two nightstands) and barstools for our new home back in April, $7,500 total. We were told there would be delays in getting our furniture and understood that. In July I got a call from Ashley that part of our order was ready to be shipped (barstools, dresser, chest, mattress, headboard but not the footboard) and the rest of the order would be ready in the beginning of August. I told them to hold everything until the complete order was ready for delivery. The new date came and went, and no one contacted us to schedule delivery. I called customer service and was told that the barstools were not ready, and they were still waiting on the headboard. I said, “wait, last month we were told the barstools and headboard were ready but now they’re not?” After getting absolutely nowhere with customer service and a supervisor hanging up on my husband, he decided to drive to the store we purchased from (60+ miles roundtrip). We were told to accept partial delivery because pieces of our order were being taken to fulfill other orders! So, we had partial delivery scheduled for yesterday. The chest of drawers arrived damaged and so did one of the two nightstands. We refused delivery on those items. While the delivery guys were moving the dresser to the room, the stain from the furniture rubbed off all over our cream-colored carpet, no fault of the delivery guys, it was the furniture itself that maybe didn’t cure long enough for the stain to absorb. Now we have black stains on our carpeted stairwell, hallway, and master bedroom! The delivery guys called Ashley and we spoke to the representative who emailed me asking for photos. I sent photos and was told we would have to wait 72-hours for a response. Unacceptable. We have waited since April for this furniture, been put on hold to get status updates for hours at a time, and then were delivered damaged furniture and had our carpet damaged, and now I have to wait for someone to contact me to fix this situation? Where is the customer service? This has been the worst experience and if I never have to step foot in an Ashley Furniture store again, it will be too soon. My next review will be with the Better Business Bureau because I am so frustrated with the lack of customer service and support from this company.
UPDATE AS OF 11/8: Still waiting for furniture. Ashley constantly rescheduling false delivery dates. Today I received a text my order is ready for delivery on November 10. Yesterday I received a call it was November 19. I called customer service and they told me November 22 and tried to connect me with the store but no one ever answers the phone there. Read moreWe purchased furniture at the Ashley Furniture in Golf Mill in July. Our furniture was delayed, which we understood there are issues with supplies. When we received the furniture in September the end tables were still not available. I called to have them canceled since we found other tables. The sales person that took care of me canceled the tables but my refund on the tables was not put through. Since September I have been trying to get my credit card refunded for 330.72 for the 2 end tables. I have called, text and I also went to the Niles store to talk to the customer service desk persons. Twice they took my information and said they had to contact some manager to get my credit card refund done and that they would contact me once it was taken care of. They never called me. I tried contacting them at that store number and I never get anyone there. I then went again November 29th to ask for my money, a young lady, dark long black hair, dark black glasses and also carries a communication microphone on her told me that she was not able to help me and proceeded to tell me that someone would contact me once they look at my request. I became very upset since this story has been told to me 3 times already and I have made a trip to the store 3 times to get my money back. I asked for her contact information since I have been told I would be contacted several times before and nothing happened. She told me that she can not provide her information and was unable to provide office contact information. I became upset since I have been given the runaround for a month and I still did not receive my money. They still have my 330.00 dollars and the tables have been canceled. I am also waiting on bedroom furniture and again they have my money and no furniture, it's been 3 months so far. She even ask me to leave the store because I raised my voice, which I normally don't but given the fact that I am treated without any regards for my time and consideration that they are not giving my my refund. I have bought over 10,000 in furniture at this store in a period of this year. I thought I would be considered somewhat of a good customer instead I am just another upset customer. Looking at the Better Business Bureau I see that there are so many cases like my case. Money not being returned when furniture canceled and so many more.. I encourage all customers to look at the BBB before going to Ashley. Not sure if all locations are the same but this one doesn't care about their customers.
