I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was rude and disrespectful. I asked for goat brain and they were charging 3 times more than other shops in the area! When I questioned the price, I was told "it takes lot of efforts" Seriously? We’re talking about taking out goat brain, not hunting a dinosaur. This kind of attitude and price gouging is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back here again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Specialty item or not, you quoted $15–$20 for goat brain, claiming it takes immense effort. you're not mining gold — it’s goat brain, not dinosaur fossil. Your staff was rude, period. No amount of poetic defense can hide that. Respect goes both ways. As for "dishonesty" — I’ve been visiting your store for 10+ years. Maybe you should get to know your regulars before throwing false accusations. You claim “honest pricing” — yet your rate is 3x higher than shops just a block away. That’s not honesty, that’s hustle.

No threats, no bullying — just calling out overpriced goat brain and rude service. Simple.

Next time, instead of writing an essay, try listening to customer feedback without assuming we’re out to ruin...

I shopped at this store last week and I was so surprised at the remodeling they did in this store. I use to frequent this store two years ago, but I stopped due to hygiene issues. The new owners turned it 360, it’s clean and smell good now. What really compelled me come here to write this review is the warmth of the new owner and his staff. Customer service is great, and they are really welcoming. I shop at a lot of Asian, middle Eastern, and African stores, and their customer service is below zero. Especially the so call halal places, they barely acknowledge your presence, act like if they speak with you kindly Allah will punish them which is so unlike the teachings of Islam. You want to shop at a store where you don’t feel awkward, this is it. I forgot to mention the price is so right and fair unlike many overpriced places, but who cares about the price when you’re...

I was very impressed on my 1st visit and have become a repeat customer since! Friendliest hidden treasure you could ever ask for, I love this place!

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Every time I have walked in, I get greeted with a smile and eye contact acknowledgment. The girl who works there is always so kind and inviting.

The store is so clean and so organized!

They have a wide selection of things that you need from a Middle Eastern store. They carry everything from baby formula, diapers, hookahs, hookah flavors, charcoal, home goods, home items, refrigerated and frozen food, fresh produce, bread, spices, canned goods, teas, rice, grains... My list can go on....

The pricing points of everything is very reasonable and they have amazing prices on their fresh/halal meats.
