I don't know how many stars I'd give it, I didn't know what to compare it to, so I'm going with 4; it's a more upscale Home Goods, or something. The bride and I go for breakfast at The Turning Point, which is in the same shopping center as Home Sense, oy! After we eat we drive across the lot to the afformentioned Home Sense. They got nice stuff there, I suppose, but I'm a guy, I don't get too turned on by this. I will say that the prices there were reasonable and the products were of quality. But, the missus had to check every corner of the store, leave no stone unturned, if you will. After about an hour I had to sit down on one of their benches they were selling. I just let her go, checking in with her occasionally, (thank goodness for cell phones and data plans, I was checking out Twitter as she shopped till she dropped). Anywho, 400 shekels later and we're driving home with a car full of stuff to make the wife happy and of course, "Happy Wife, Happy Life". So, what have I learned from this Sunday of pancakes and omelets and tablecloths and benches? I've learned to stock up on eggs and flour to cook my own breakfast to keep the little lady out of the interior decorating stores! That being said, check the place out, it's not bad, especially if you're a gal; the guys, find a comfy bench and...
Read moreFirst visit to a Home Sense, and this location. This store opened in Feb 2019, their prices are ok, not really too many deals, nothing on sale, few clearance items. They are owned by Home Goods/Marshalls but the vibe in here is juat blah. Maybe it was this particular store, I dont know. But I walked around and two employees stocking shelves were complaining on merchandise coming in, they didnt know where to put it. I asked for the allen key to colapse a 48" console table I wanted to purchase so it would fit easier in my car (2 screws). Not only did they not have a screwdriver/allen key for me to borrow, the gentleman told me they throw them away after assembly, but to my dismay, he didnt even offer to help me put it into my car. He was very flippant about the whole thing. The store is clean, laid out in an ok way, but nothing is great; not the deals, pricing, customer service or employees. Most of the items offered were also at Home Goods, and they had more to choose from IMO. The cashier was great, shout out to her! She was helpful and efficient! I doubt Ill be going back to Home Sense, but definately not this...
Read moreToday was my first trip to Home Sense and I have to say I definitely will be back! Although I though some items were pricey for what they were, I found amazing prices on 4 items I purchased. First of all, i found two large ottomans with charging outlets built into them that were in excellent condition being that they were the “floor models” for $99 each!!!! To me, that was a steal in itself. The next item I found was a beautiful neon pink candle that smelled delightful (much better than ones you would find in bath & body works or yankee candle) for only $7 and the last item I found was a fully rhinestone soap dispenser for $13. In my opinion, all the items I purchased were amazing prices. I wish there were more items I saw at reasonable prices for what they were, but I definitely will be back soon. The staff is very friendly and it always looks like there is someone around to help if you had a question, unlike other stores where it looks like nobody...
