Pupusas Express — Restaurant in Manassas Park

Mixed feelings. First time I ate in and the first time I ordered delivery the pan con pollo was excellent and juicy. First time I ordered delivery the pan came with the sauce on the side, which makes sense so it doesn’t get too soggy by the time they deliver it.

Today I ordered and it didn’t come with any sauce on the sandwich or on the side. I called to ask where it was and the “owner” just kept arguing with me saying that’s how it’s made and they put the sauce on it already and I must have ordered extra sauce last time. I tried explaining there is no sauce on the side or on the sandwich and I didn’t order any extra sauce last time, but he didn’t want to hear it, just said next time he can give me extra sauce. I ordered, carne asada. which come with rice and a salade. The rice was horrible. No taste what so ever and it was wet. The carne asada was good i enjoy that. The salade didnt look fresh and the lime looked dry. I aswell ordered 4 pupusas 2 cheese which where good. The other 2 had meat inside of them which i didnt enjoy so much. Besides that i ordered a soupa de marisco which i didnt even have the coirage to drink/eat it all that roughtly about 40+ bucks not a bad price if it was something i enjoy.. Then the lady asked for my name which i provide my name some guy in the back started laughing at my name.. Very veryy disrespectful. I told him that is such a marvelous name dont be making fun of my name... Think about it this is a Mexicans resturant. What do you think his name is. Possibly either Jose or Juan.. This place i my self did not enjoy. But you guys can go...

If I could, I’d give it a zero. I just saw a HIT AND RUN on 5/24/25 around 6:45 pm from a PUPUSAS EXPRESS DRIVER (Red Honda/Toyota small sedan)!! He hit a teenage boy while he was trying to cross the street!!!! He was coming out of the pupusas express/megamart shopping center onto Route 28. It was horrible to witness!

He didn’t even stop (and he had an opportunity to stop!!) to ask or check on the poor boy!! It’s SO WRONG. I WISH I could’ve gotten the license plate and report that driver ASAP but a car got in my way and he immediately made a right turn on the street behind Joe’s pizza and subs.

I hope the restaurant sees this and reports their driver IMMEDIATELY. It was horrible and I hope that...
