Firstly, I am currently seeking the Regional Manager/Director to report my concerns.
Upon entering, I was ignored by the Receptionist. Even when I approached the counter, he acted as though he could not be bothered. I spoke up, and I advised I wished to tour the facility. He shoved a clipboard/paperwork at me, and said a sales rep would be by before going back to ignoring me. When I told him I wanted to tour the facility first, he turned his back to me, and an equally unprofessional Brunette stepped up. In a blatant attempt to intimidate me, she demanded that I complete the forms on the clipboard. I returned it and advised I would not provide any of my information until I'd surveyed the club. With a show of aggravation, she then demanded that I show my ID and sign in. When I agreed, she stood and glared before walking away and leaving me waiting. When she returned, she told me her Manager said I couldn't tour the facility until I completed the forms. It was clear I simply wasn't welcome at that facility, and I was being discriminated against. I have visited gyms all over the country, and have been granted tours without providing personal information first. Read moreTerrible experience. Wanted to try this gym out in hopes to sign up as I recently canceled my other gym membership. When I arrived I was told by the kind guy in the front that I could get a guest pass online otherwise I'd have to pay 7.50. As I was about to do this a rude and angry Hispanic fat manager (hopefully not) or superviser stepped in without warrant, would not let me try the gym out. I was with a friend who was already a member and he insisted I had to pay to TEST the gym out. This was outrageous to me bc even better gyms such as lifetime and onelife will allow anyone to test the gym out free of charge for at LEAST 3 days let alone 1 DAY! I felt very uncomfortable with this rude and classless customer service that I kindly said ok and did not say much else, just went ahead and signed up at the LA FITNESS gym across the street and my friend also canceled his memeberhsip and signed up there as well after experiencing this kind of experience. I always liked Golds Gyms atmosphere, however I will make sure to tell people about this experience and classless customer service and recommend people to NOT WASTE THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY PAYING MONTHLY AT AN OVERPRICED GOLDS GYM WHICH CLEARLY ONLY CARES ABOUT A DOLLAR RATHER THAN THEIR...
Read moreI went in to get a trial for me and my sisters as we are all heavy and wanted to try and loose weight together was told they can’t because they are 17 so I went to the bathroom and they asked to use the bathroom the lady let us but had a attitude the entire time , while I was in the shower and sauna my sisters waited with me and camil kept on coming and watching us I felt very uncomfortable finally they went out and sat where she said they could wait and on my way out to get my I’d she said she was trying to be nice and let them use the bathroom but because they waited with me till I left out and went and sat in front that the pass is a Privilege and she revoked my privilege but if I wanted to buy a membership I could I find it very unprofessional that because my sisters that we’re not doing anything or causing any disturbance made my privileges get re-vote as they were sitting with me in the bathroom I will...
