If I could give zero stars, I would. I was deeply disappointed with their customer service. With my wedding approaching, I ordered a tasting box from them and went to pick it up. During my visit, I exchanged a few pleasantries with the owner and left. My fiancé and I enjoyed the cake and decided to hire them for our wedding.

The next day, I called to speak with the owner to request a quote and discuss the cake details. However, the owner was out on a delivery, so I left a message. No one ever called me back. Over the next few days, I repeatedly called, leaving multiple messages with whoever answered the phone, but I still didn’t receive a response.

By the time I made my fourth or fifth attempt, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. If you’re a bride looking for a wedding cake, do not hire them. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and clearly do not value new customers.

I have since hired a different bakery, and I couldn’t be happier. The entire process—cake tasting, discussing pricing, and signing the contract—took just two days to finalize.

I would like to add that this occurred about three weeks ago, and I have been waiting for a callback since then. I refrained from writing this review earlier because I wanted to give them an opportunity to address the issue. However, I believe an ample amount of time has passed, and there is no excuse for their rudeness. Normally this is my to go place.i travel a hr. Due to no longer living in the area I always try to support small businesses in the area.I went in I knew exactly what I wanted. which was a 3 layer different flavor cake with butter cream icing and chocolate ganache along the edge. I was told if I order 3 different flavors it would be more $$ which would have been a (napoleon cake )by the way.if I know exactly what I want I don’t mind paying extra.so I took it as if they didn’t want to do it. She said I should go with a marble which would still have all the flavors so I agreed. I give a time to pickup the cake I had to wait 20min.to receive the cake. The cashier said they were putting the finishing touch on it.the owner brings out the cake with the chocolate ganache not even dry around the cake.i guess she saw my facial expression.and she said you should be happy you’re getting a big cake I can’t even close the lid… laughing I’m thinking it should be big I paid to have a nice cake 108.00 it was such a disappointment.the cake was still wet (which I took pictures)I wish they would have called me to let me know they were running behind.what’s the point of having a phone number on file. I had to leave the cake at someone house for a few hrs. Because it would have been a mess traveling back home. the cake was extremely thick not moist at all. Sad part was she couldn’t even fix her lips to apologize for the delay.I always go to her for our special occasions. I will find a new bakery not worth the money or headache...

I had been to Cakes by Happy Eatery last summer and wasn't blown away by it, however, I was craving a cupcake today so my boyfriend took me there. As we walked in the door, we were not greeted, not a huge deal. We got in line and waited our turn and as we were waiting, we noticed that the lady behind us got served first. We didn't say anything because we thought it was an over site and they would help us out next. Much to our surprise, a man walks in the door and immediately, the lady who seemed to be the manager, completely ignored my boyfriend and me and walked straight to the man and told another employee to help two other women that were in line behind us so that she could help the man that just walked in! Not once did anyone say hi to us or tell us that they would be right with us. My boyfriend and I were so angry that we walked out. The customer service is horrible so save your money and go buy a cake from Wegman's, their pastries are so much better any way that the drive is well worth it because you get good food and excellent service. Will not recommend Cakes by Happy Eatery to anyone!!! I wish there was a negative...
