The first thing you will notice when you come in, is the pain in your neck from having to try to read the menu 6-8 feet above the counter, and bring some strong glasses or binoculars as at that height the text is difficult to read. LOL... while I was there two other customers came in and were joking about having to look straight up to see the menu... I handed them the carry-out menu... made things easier. Other than that the atmosphere is very plain.
I ordered two things. The first, Sambosay Goshtee (Fried pastry, stuffed with ground beef, chickpeas and herbs) was very, very greasy. I could not taste much on the herb department, and the pastry was not crunchy, but kinda soggy from the fryer grease.
The second item was a simple Gyro sandwich, or should I say a large piece of bread with a couple of slices of meat, little lettuce, no feta that I could taste and no sauce. Very, very disappointing. My usual 'Go-To' for Gyro's is Reston Kabob...but today I didn't want to waste the gas or time... I should have.
Overall, I was not impressed and most likely will not be back unless somebody I am with wants to go there. I wish I had gone when those here that reviewed gave them 3/3 across the board...maybe it was opening week or something... but it wasn't even close...
Read moreThis “restaurant” is the worst place I’ve ever been at. I called in a carry-out order for a salata ($3.95) and a lamb pita roll ($6.95). The lady misunderstood me and gave me two rolls. The second being a falafel roll. I told her my order was incorrect and she told me they were to busy to correct it and that she was going to make me a normal salad. I did not want a normal salad and then she refused to make my salata. Can you imagine refusing a paying customer?! Furthermore, she charged me $14 for the two pita rolls and I told her I did not want to get charged for the second roll but she said the normal salad was the same price. This was a lie and I told her the falafel roll is more expensive but she refused to acknowledge that. I understand being busy as I have worked in restaurants for about 7 years but this was unreal. Horrible...
Read moreI was told by too many other people who have been here no go at all. But Somehow I forgot. Couple days ago I was on my way to work and ordered Kabob, They person behind the line told to pick up my order in 20 Minutes. I got there and the order was not placed at all. I asked why and how anyways! A big Head Tall guy came out of the Kitchen and start Cursing in his native , he thought I don't understand his language. Then he said to me wait another 30 Minutes or get out of my shop now. one of his employee tried to hold him, and then he pushed out of his restaurant. I don't know still such kinda people exist. Very unprofessional, he was about to start physical fight with me, but I avoided him. He has cameras in his restaurant and if the go and check the cameras he will understand what was going on 4 days ago . Shame On you with this...
