They are selling a T-Rex for $83 at this store from a $33 dollar kit. The employees were rude and the store is a ripoff. I went today and was looking at a $10 Harry Potter kit to buy. I picked it up to show my kid and possibly buy it. It was being held together by a rubber band. I picked it up and a Lego fell out of it. I went to open the book to put the piece back and I realized the whole inside was smashed. So I brought it to the desk. And tried to explain and maybe have him help me put it back into one piece so I could buy it. The young adult (who had already lectured me about the dinosaur “that dinosaur is from a really expensive kit….” It wasn’t I have the kit at home. It’s on clearance at target) then told me that since I broke the kit, I would have to pay for it and started to reprimand me about it. I told him that since he was being so rude we are no longer going to spend our money at this store and told all three of my kids to pot their purchases back and we left. Everything is very overpriced (which I can understand because they have to stay in business) but I found one figure that was of interest to me and priced fairly. I was happy with my purchase until I examined the figure more closely and realized there was a crack in the hairpiece! There was no indication when I bought it that there was damage (however other figures had stickers that said they were damaged), and it is quite a large crack that is hard to notice due to the waviness of the piece. Lost the receipt so can’t return. As a bricklink seller myself, I would never sell this figure. This damage could be why it was priced as it should have been without damage. I’ll give this store the benefit of the doubt, assuming they didn’t know it was there, but they really should examine their products for damage before...
Read moreAwful customer service experience. My wife purchased a new sealed set. Turns out my son already owned it. So we had receipt and returned 4 days later. Clerk said they do not do returns. Then I read the return policy to him on the receipt. He thanked me sarcastically for "reading their return policy so carefully" then offered store credit. My son wanted different Legos so I said yes, sure. Then he tried to offer me $40 of credit when we were returning something that cost $80!!!! I had to argue that we were going to end up purchasing the Legos from them, and then he conceded and gave me $80 store credit
