So I bought a piece here that I wasn’t sure about. Had I been told at the time of sale they don’t accept returns, I would not have purchased this item. I was unaware of this policy until I brought it back in original wrapping with receipt and was informed of this.
I find your response and “apology” to this review, both condescending and passive aggressive. I was unsure of the item that I was purchasing. It was a piece of art, which can be interpretive. I had a thought as to what it appeared to be to me. I wasn’t sure how it would appear to other people. Therefore, when I approached the register, I told the sales person that I was purchasing this for my parents 60th wedding anniversary, and I asked her what she thought the art was. Her response was surprising to me, because that is not how I interpreted it. After telling her that she suggested she ring it up so it would tell us what it was. Turns out, it was supposed to be two brides . Obviously extremely inappropriate for my parents wedding anniversary. I told her that and she stated to me that art is interpretive, and it only matters what I see. I was very unsure about purchasing it, even telling her that I would have to get my sisters opinion. Therefore, I believe during an exchange like this it would be common sense for the sales person to tell me there are no exchanges.. I did not see any sign on the register, and as for it being posted on my receipt, I obviously didn’t read it, which was why I went to the store to try to return it. Having it printed on a receipt is kind of a moot point since having a receipt means you’ve already made your purchase . It would have done me no good anyways ( Since I already paid for it ) except saved me the gas and time I wasted going back to your store. When I went to try and return or exchange it, I was informed of your policy I looked around, didn’t see any signs anywhere, and I said to the sales person it would be nice if this policy was posted on the door or somewhere visible, she said she was sorry. She did not say it’s right here in front of the register. On that particular day, or the day of my purchase there was no posting near the register that was visible to me. However, I am sure there is one...
