I recently needed a suit for a funeral, and I needed it fast so I traveled to the Men's Wearhouse in Manchester NH. The overall experience in the store was wonderful. I was helped right away, and after twenty minutes and a bit of money I was on my way with instructions that they would email to me. Fast forward to 3 days later, no email about my suit, and no answer when called. So I make one last ditch effort to call before I make the 2 hour drive to deal with it and they answer and my suit is done. My wife who happened to be in Manchester for work agrees to pick it up. The attendant that I spoke to checked and assured me everything was in the bag. Suit coat, trousers, and shirt. My wife picks it up, the sales rep checks the bag and assures my wife everything is in the bag (the same same rep I was on the phone with). We head for NY the next morning for the wake. Getting into the hotel to dress for my grandmother's wake I come to the terrible realization that Men's Wearhouse has neglected to put my shirt in with my suit! I call and they check and, yup its there. But there was nothing I could do at that point. The associate, Ethan was extremely apologetic and told me to come in when I returned and they would make it right. That brings us to now, I picked up my shirt and again spoke to Ethan, who spoke to the manager and this is where things took a turn. The manager Maria was extremely curt in her remarks of, "well he can return the shirt and get a refund" to which I said I wanted the shirt since it was tailor fit to me. To which she retorted, "give him 30% back" my blood is boiling at this point, but I keep it calm and accept the offer figuring that, the 30% would include the $40.00 I spent in alterations. Nope, for all my trouble, the gas to get to Manchester, and not having my shirt when we laid my grandmother to rest $18.00 is what this location did to "make it right". I will take my business elsewhere in the future. Side note, Ethan was a shining star through the whole ordeal I understand that he isn't management and can only do so much but hats off to him for doing his...
Read moreI bought a new suit from Men's warehouse a week or so ago. When I first walked in, Christine quickly greeted me. I told her I was in need of a suit for my friends wedding. She took my measurements and went to work. We worked together to find the right color, and the right fit. It was clear right away that she knew what she was doing and is an expert. It was very important to her that I look good! When you are making a purchase like this, it is very comforting to have that kind of support. I knew she had my best interests because even if I was content with the fit & size, we didn't finish until she was happy.
The suit was tailored and I returned to pick it up a week later. When I came back I tried the suit on. Great fit. I was very pleased how the jacket and pants turned out. Jill oversaw me trying the suit on and gave me her approval with it, telling me the fit was great, and I agreed. Jill and I then discussed what I would be wearing for a shirt and tie. I had nothing in mind, so she showed me some shirts she liked. We both agreed on a shirt, and from there she set out to find a tie that would work well with the whole outfit. I am very indecisive when it comes to these types of things so I was nervous we wouldn't find a winner. With Jill's expertise we found a killer combination that I am excited to try out at the wedding. Jill ended up staying 45 minutes late just to help me pick out the right tie!! If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is. I can't thank her enough! Both occasions when I came in, I felt as if I was dealing with my own girlfriend or mother, because they cared so much that I looked good. I could truly see the passion in both Christine and Jill. Five stars all the way around, if you ever need a suit, or fashion advice, I highly recommend...
Read moreWhere to begin.. after postponing our wedding a year the day will finally arrive this Saturday but there’s one massive problem. Men’s wearhouse has no idea when our suits will be here for the wedding. They claimed they would be ready for pickup two days before the wedding so I ended up calling last week to make sure everything would be ready to go. I call again two days before and the “manager” told me she has no idea where they are but they should be in the next day. She then had the audacity to start blaming Fedex instead of trying to resolve the issue. I end up calling their corporate number and after being on hold for almost an hour someone picks up and tells me they’re in Pennsylvania and have not left the warehouse yet so I demanded a tracking number. He continues to tell me there is no tracking number and guarantees they will be there by Friday. If no tracking number exists that means the label hasn’t even been created to ship the package and they’re promising me it will be here in time for the wedding? No one i talked to tried to get me more answers or establish piece of mind and fix the issue but instead pointed the finger at fedex. This is a mens wearhouse issue and not a Fedex issue. This is unacceptable and I’ve never had worse customer service in my entire life and this is putting more stress on us as we try to scramble for a backup plan because I do not trust this company’s word at all. The fact that it took me to call and find out there was an issue rather than them calling me is terrible business practice and after all Is said and done I am done with this company. Thanks for ruining our long...
