Went to visit Pastime Pinball on their opening day for business on Friday November 29th. It was a great time and they have a really nice collection of pinball machines from current day offerings to rare EM machines from the 50's & 60's. There is something for everyone. It is a pay per time to play as much pinball as you can. Currently they have two options....30 minutes for $15 or 4 hours from $25 plus tax....which comes to $26.75. I purchased the 4 hour option and it was well worth it. $15 for 30 minutes might be a little excessive with regards to price ( I see a few negative reviews) for your time......most likely play 4 maybe 5 games of pinball in that time...that works out to about $3 a game. If I could offer any advice to Martin & Beth the owners it would be to offer a 30 minute sampler for $5. $15 should get you 2 hours and $25 gets you 4 hours and maybe $5 extra for every other hour you are there. The sampler is to just give people a taste of it to draw more business and get people interested in Pinball. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back soon.

Fun place to kill some time. You basically have two options. You can do a 30 minute open play or unlimited open play. 3 and under are free. My kids range in ages from 3-8. They definitely did not need more than 30 minutes there. I did not pay for an adult ticket, they allow you to be have a "non-play" lanyard if you're the adult with a kid(s). This is nice because i really would not have been able to play while chasing after 3 little ones! They had fun seeing all the machines and learning to play. They even had little step stools for the littles. Upstairs there are a few old school games and a cafe. The cafe has some canned beer & wine. They have popcorn, pretzels, chicken fingers, and hot dogs. One thing to note. If you're play time is up, you can still sit in the small cafe area, but you're not able to play games since your time is up. Don't forget to set a timer if you do the 30 min! If you don't do unlimited play, and you go over you're time, you may be charged a fee! Overall fun place tl check out and play some games! They have pinball machines from all different generations.

Pretty cool place to spend a few hours and see some pinball machines from as far back as the 40's to current day. Enjoy paying one price and only having to push a start button. Play as long as you like, no carrying quarters, making change, visiting an ATM or bill changer. Simply pick your time of play and play a variety of over 30 machines or just play your favorite. Owner/operator is super friendly and courteous especially having to deal with the COVID issues. Very clean and well maintained. Brought back a lot of memories playing some of the old ones from back in the day. Update: I got a reply from the owner and have been told there are at least 65 machines. Did I play them all, no. I played the few from my past and a few others. For me, it was about my past and my youth. I played some of the vintage machines and also a couple from more recent times. The Munsters happened to be favorite and I was doing well.

4 stars for a great variety of machines, clean machines, well spaced out. Really really REALLY nice facility for pinball, especially for rural Vermont of all places!

Subtracted one star for the following reasons (these things are COMPLETELY fixable All five of the games I played leaned. I mentioned this to the staff on all 5 games, and on the fifth time I was told well it is an older building and it is the floor. I cannot agree because there is always the possibility of using the leg levelers properly. On some games, the lean was so bad that it was difficult or impossible to cradle the ball. Ghostbusters leaned so much that the ball actually rolled out of the cradle position and about 1/2 way up the flipper. Was not acknowledged by the staff, except to pay or to report balance issues on the machines. No one wanted to know if I was enjoying myself, if I had any questions. Walked right past a staff member at the desk to exit, and no thanks, no hope you had fun, no "come back and see us" or "see you again soon." No oh by the way the IFPA is starting again soon and we have upcomomming tournaments. Zilch nada nothing. Improvements needed here FOR SURE.

I agree about the other comment about the owner being surly, and I would even say this may apply to the whole staff. (Given the total lack of friendliess).

Suggestion to the owners: 1) you do a FANTASTIC job keeping the games clean. Five stars here, but I suggest periodically checking the games for level and adjusting as needed. This is a PINBALL PLACE (not a place with pinball machines), so finding so many games out of balance was disappointing to say the least. 2) please be friendlier. I am from Texas visiting family and I drove an hour and a half to come here to play pinball. A little friendliness, a smile here and there - appreciation of the customer goes a long way.

Please understand that the feedback is intended as constructive; I'm surely looking forward to coming back here when I visit new...

This museum is a magical wonderland of everything pinball. When you step in, it’s like you go back in time to all your favorite pinball eras, from the 50s to almost modern day. The pinball machines were kept in excellent condition and I’m certain the museum proprietor strives to keep them that way to consistently provide and excellent customer experience. I could not find a single machine that failed to properly function.

I actually had the opportunities to try quite a few machines because I could never play one for that long (I’m not the best pinball player and I kept losing). The Mars machine was my favorite one, it had a really funny alien that would make all kinds of goofy noises. I give this establishment 5 stars for an excellent customer experience, a brilliant concept that combines fun and history, and the funny alien.

However, I must subtract 1 star because I have a slight inkling that perhaps there is something fishy about the whole thing. A deeply seeded sinister and clandestine evil of a stygian nature seems to reside within that place. I saw it at the front of the store, a bowl of pinballs, heavy steel, I saw many faces look back at me from within those polished spheres. At first I could not bear to look, then I could not look away. Examining them further, I could almost hear ethereal cries and chimes. Those pinballs in that bowl, sitting there trapped and motionless, hidden in plain sight, are possibly the condensed, reformed, and refined cremated remains of others that remain trapped in this pinball plain. As to who is behind the subsection of those spheres to that terrible fate, one can only surmise.

That aside, I had a wonderful time with my friends and learned a lot about the history of those blinking and chattering machines. I would certainly...

Even if you don’t play pinball at all, this is a wonderful place to experience some of the best pinball machines ever made. As someone who enjoys pinball often, this is a special place. The games are in great shape and are in working condition. I recommend to stay at least 2 hours and try as many as you can! If you are not close by, this place is worth a long drive. The cover charge is a great value in my opinion. Once you are in, you can play games ranging from 1947 to present. Many of the best games from each decade are represented. I love how you can learn about each game as you play your way through. The games are placed in order of the year that they were released. I enjoyed every game over a few visits. The newer electronic pinball machines from the late 70’s and on make up the majority of the collection. I also love the older electromechanical games that had the pre-digital score reels. There are over a dozen of these older games. I recommend to download the app called pinball map and look up the list of game titles that they have on location. There are over 60 pinball machines! The atmosphere is very nice. Be sure to go upstairs! There are some nice surprises as well as food and drink options up there. Fun for the whole family, the young and the...
