I went to Julie Noroian, and the way she treated me was absolutely horrible. To make matters worse, my hair was so terrible after I left, that when I found someone to fix it, they said they'd never seen a worse color and they weren't even sure we could get the green-gray out of my hair. She told me that she believed we could obtain the color in a picture that I showed her, then later she said she never promised anything, and that even though she charged me an additional $67 to 'break the base' or red in my hair, that she never said it would work. Day 1 she sent me home with brown bangs, blonde length, and red roots saying that 'she's been there since 7:30, she hasn't eaten, I'm obviously upset, and she can't work in these conditions.' She also said that my bangs weren't dyed the same as my hair because 'the picture I showed her was of the back of someone's head, so how could she know what to do with my bangs'. The next day I went back to get it fixed and she said kept telling me I was out of line for being so 'distressed', when my voice was only quaking, I never raised it, and she was attacking me, saying that I changed my mind 10 times, I didn't know what I wanted, the pictures I showed her were unobtainable for my hair, etc. My friend had been with me through the service, and she even tried to rope her into it saying "Your friend hasn't eaten, she wants to go home, she saw my whole process, I don't have to justify anything to you". I don't understand why she wouldn't have started by letting me know that she couldn't obtain the picture, or that it was unrealistic; I would have just left. When she 'fixed' it the next day, I told her that my hair holds ash toner really heavily, so she shouldn't use it. She used it anyway and said that it's very in style, even though I told her it didn't look good on me. While I will admit that I didn't fight her at the end of day 2, it was because I'm genuinely afraid of her because she's so mean. I don't spend a lot of money on having nice hair. I got a great tax return, and I thought that I would treat myself to a nice, expensive looking balayage. I ended up with all over green hair. I'm so disappointed and disheartened that I spent so much money to get something that was so horrible. I'll be happy to never visit this place again. Case in point - don't go. WOW...there are so many things I want to say about Mindy. Have been looking for a new place to get my hair done. Extremely happy that I found a place that I can return to. Mindy Queen is AWESOME....she really cares about her clients and goes way above and beyond to make sure they receive the best service she can provide for them. When I arrived she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and she asked a lot questions that helped us decide the path forward that was correct for me. She made sure in the end that I was happy with the results but it wasn’t just about me. She did not let me leave until SHE was happy with the end result!! Do not bring your child to this stylist. 30 Minute late appointment with no sitting area. No communication with child. Horrible Untrained Cut! Bad communication skills.
