Course was in decent condition. Tee boxes needed some work, most were dirt or had huge chunks taken out of them. The older golf pro was a jerk and disrespectful as soon as we came in. He thought we were another group and claimed we hadn’t paid for our round. He was yelling at us and not giving any patience towards us. But our group was bigger than the group he described. Apparently the room charge didn’t go through for them and we had paid via credit card. We stayed at the hotel and thought that we were all cool. The younger golf pro was cool and super helpful. We had a great time until the end when the older golf pro came out and was aggressive towards us. When we had done nothing wrong. So thanks to the younger golf pro, you made it a...
Read morePlayed here again for the first time in 4 months. Staff is still great, but the course quality has gone way downhill. Sad because it used to be the best little 9 hole in the area. Tee boxes are atrocious and worse than some of the heavily played city courses in LA. They have mats, so not sure why they can’t force people to hit off them for a couple months while they regrow the tee boxes? The rest of the course conditions are okay but nowhere near as good as they used to be. Greens are pretty lumpy and have a million ball marks (ball marks are the player’s faults, not the course). Seriously people, fix your ball marks!!! If they fix the tee boxes I’ll come back, but otherwise it doesn’t...

A few months ago a few of us arrived for our tee time and we’re told to park in the hotel structure because the DM decided to convert the parking lot to a pickle ball course. I’ve returned a couple times because I love the course, but the inconvenience of hauling my clubs from the parking structure to the course is ridiculous. Plus, I’ve NEVER seen anyone playing pickle ball the last 4x’s I’ve been there. Needless to say, we’ll NEVER return to Westdrift. And, good luck with that...
