Had a terrible experience at this location! I missed an unadvertised warranty program (which I had no idea existed at all) for a recalled keyboard (internal and external issue) on the 2016-2018 MacBooks and this store happily offered to do a free cleaning/fix to try and make the situation better. They offered to fix my 4 broken keys, replace my fallen off "S" and do a cleaning on the underside of dirt and debris.

They found a broken butterfly joint on another key, which is why it was recalled in the first place, and stopped the process deeming that they "could not do a half repair job." Called me and told me they did everything else, fixed the other keys, a full clean and supplied a replacement "S." I got to the store and the retail tech stated they did absolutely nothing and would charge me to go further. The store had the opportunity to fix other issues on the keyboard, as that was what was agreed to the day before, but chose not to.

After 4 accumulative hours in the store, I couldn't believe they gave me back my computer with zero effort done to make my situation better. Unless I paid close to $700, they refused to do any further on satisfy the customer. Management was very, "Sorry there's nothing we can do."

This was the first Fry's Electronics in LA, built MANY, MANY years ago. It definitely was a learning experience for the company. The first thing that you notice is that there is very limited parking. Beware coming here during holidays and other peak times or you won't be able to get in. Next, the store is cramped and not organized correctly. For example, there are multiple places in the store to find USB cables. Cables are cables regardless of whether you are going to use it for your computer, tablet, phone, or whatever. Most of the time the store looks like a stampede of customers ravaged the store and the staff is insufficient to keep things off the floor and organized on the shelves. If you are looking for something, like a certain type of router, check out the entire aisle because you might find it stacked up on the top shelf on the other end of the aisle. Posted prices are hard to find. Most items' prices can only be found by having a staff member scan it, that is if you find one.
