Called to calmly and respectfully about switching my prescriptions to a new location due to the difference in cost. When I called I got someone immediately which was awesome I know how busy they can be as I have seen first hand picking up scripts in-person. First person who picked up was a gentleman who said “CVS Pharmacy how can I help you?” I explained to them that I would like to transfer my medication I recently had ordered there to a new location because of the cost. Response was “please hold”. This is where it took a turn for the unprofessionalism, A young lady who I would agree is probably spread thin and has a lot on her plate picked up the phone saying “CVS Pharmacy how can I help?” I assumed she was informed briefly what my call was about from the gentleman who answered first since if he had to hand it off to someone else I assumed it was something he could not help me with but I explained myself again anyway not bothered however, she interrupted with “what’s your date of birth?” I paused…and finished what I had to say and than said if you would let me finish speaking I could have easily given you that information. It came off uncaring and bothered by something that she came into work to do. So, the staff decided to all chip in on this unprofessionalism by placing me on hold as soon as they recognized my voice picking up the phone than for the third time picking up they just slammed the phone on the receiver to hang up on me.
It’s very sad that as adults they act like children at this Pharmacy, multiple times I have interacted with these individuals and I have been so polite and understanding in person and on the phone and this time it was just very sad and rude to be treated like that. Uncaring and bothered and very very unprofessional. I’ve swore by this Pharmacy because when I came in person it was a service with a smile even when I can see that they are all visible worn out but it is not an excuse to be disrespectful and childish. I firmly believe if you are burned out or hate yourself or your job that much, find some happiness...
Read moreLack of customer support by pharmacy tech. Very rude. I had requested my RX to be transfered to another store. Was never informed that my RX was ready but I had looked up the status online. It was ready at Lititz Pike. I walk in to pick up RX and was greeted with "Hella, hella.". No eye contact or "may I help you" greeting. The information from there was presented with no care or understanding that it left me confused to where my RX was or why I couldn't pick up. So I head to Oregon Pike store(1 week later) to pick up my RX where I had requested it be moved to originally. Was politely greeted and the tech kindly explained that my RX was at the store on Lititz Pike. After being bounced around like a ping pong ball on the phone between 2 stores I ended up on the phone with the original rude pharmacy tech. After giving my date of birth and name I was told in a firm tone "Your prescription is not at my store!" I asked who I could call or talk to to get this resolved and the rude and unkind treatment continued. Suggested to speak with the pharmacist and I agreed, was put on hold and 2 mins later the tech got back on the phone and informed me my RX would be ready in 30 mins then hung up on me. Didn't even speak with the pharmacist. At no time did I feel like I was being rude but the treatment I received was punishing and concerning. I understand the healthcare system is complex and at times confusing but I don't need to be treated the way I have been by an employee of CVS. I'm posting this only after I pick up my RX for fear of retribution and I'm hoping I'm able to move my order somewhere where I never have to communicate with this...
Read moreUnfortunately, this is the only 24 hour pharmacy near us. The pharmacy tech and pharmacist were both rude when talking to them. We were trying to get a script filled for my elderly grandmother who’s sick, that I had with me because I just picked her up from the hospital. They didn’t have the script in stock, the tech rudely suggested that the hospital prescribe something else, or go somewhere else to find it! To which I called the hospital and the Dr. couldn’t believe I was told that! The Dr. was able to prescribe something else. After trying to call the pharmacist many times, the Dr. finally reached the person to fill the script. The pharmacist knew that the Dr. would be calling!! I was also told I couldn’t be in the drive through lane, that I needed to come into the store and wait! ?? So I had to leave my grandma with mental decline in the car alone and wait for the pharmacy staff to gather her medication!
When I finally drove back through the drive through, (because I told them I was going to pick it up that way) I told the tech that the Dr. on the phone felt like he was being rude, and he’s like “there’s nothing I can do about that!! He’s like we are only 2 people for like 15 customers!” What a shame for not going above and beyond to have better...
