Today was my third time stopping there, and I was honestly just going to browse, but the staff was awesome. Not only did they answer all my questions on what I was eventually looking to buy but they gave me a ton of helpful feedback on helping me become a better brewer. I've only been brewing for just over a year now, but I've learned a lot from my own and these guys who have tons of experience gave me fantastic advice on how to improve my product at home. Not only did I leave there with several items including 48 beer bottles, a dozen wine bottles and such when I didn't think I was going to buy anything for my current batches of hard cider and meads, but they gave me a ton of print outs with helpful information on mead making. The staff were very friendly and were extremely willing to help me get started. Since then I visit the store about every other week and I have attended the All Grain Brewing Class that they offer. Read moreThe shop is well stocked with a full selection of all-grain malts, yeast, and hops. I have shopped at this store countless times in the last year and have never been unable to get what I needed for my recipes. I have been disappointed at some other local shops that when I drive out there they are sold out of a component I needed for the recipe I was planning, never at Lancaster Homebrew. The owner, Mark, is also very knowledgeable and will be a big help for those new to brewing. He is also a big supporter of brewing in Lancaster and supports local competitions, along with Ironhill. So if you brew in Lancaster, support this HBS. It is a good store run...
