Genki sushi and grill — Restaurant in Manheim Township

I don’t typically give a 5 star review, however there was nothing negative about my dine-in experience. The atmosphere was very clean and modern, if there was a negative about the atmosphere I would say the table felt sticky but I believe it was due to the type of table mixed with whatever cleaner the restaurant uses. We ordered a Pepsi, raspberry tea and a water. As an appetizer we ordered the calamari which came with a sauce that tasted a bit like eel sauce or soy sauce, it was good but I was not fond of the calamari batter I would rate it a 6/10 and may not order it next time. We also ordered the chicken fried rice which had egg, onion and scallions with thinly sliced chunks of chicken. The portion for $14 and change was definitely enough to share between 2 or 3 people. We had leftovers and the leftovers were just as good if not better than when it was served. The Japanese Bagel Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll and Caribbean Roll were the three rolls we ordered and they were delicious, flavorful and well presented. We were also given two pieces of a sushi roll on the house which I thought was very neat! Now for the service, 10/10! Extremely friendly, I couldn’t get over the friendliness of the two male waiters which I wish I had gotten their names! Upon arrival they immediately asked if we needed a high chair for our son, the service was quick with a smile, they gave us a complimentary piece of sushi, always made sure our drinks were full, asked if we needed anything and made sure we were enjoying our meal! I was very impressed with the customer service and because of that alone we would go back! I highly recommend trying this...

Loved our time there tonight! The decor was just right: simple, but complementary to create just the right atmosphere (love the fish chandelier!).

The staff was amazingly accommodating and attentive as they checked in on us multiple times during our time there to make sure we had everything we needed. And not just by our server but also others as well. We noticed that when they were greeting or bidding farewell to guests, it wasn't just one or two people, but almost everyone on the staff team. Creates a very welcoming atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delish! Included in the picture (top to bottom): Caribbean roll, spicy Cali roll, and salmon roll. First thing I noticed after biting into one of the rolls was the FRESHNESS in the ingredients that were used. Like the mango in the Caribbean roll, the salmon in the salmon roll, and the veggies in our chicken teriyaki, which was a pleasant surprise in comparison to other sushi restaurants in the area. The seaweed salad and coconut shrimp were pretty good, too!

Overall, if you like sushi with SUPERB service on top of it all, definitely...

Wow. Just wow. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming, warm and incredibly kind! The guy who sat me helped me pick cooked rolls since I am pregnant and the waitress made suggestions as well which I really appreciated. She was so attentive and sweet. The place is clean and cute and very inviting. Up to date music and made for a good ambiance. Everything smells amazing! The gyoza were perfectly cooked/seared and the sauce was incredible. I have had many of these dumplings in the past at other places and these were far superior. I had the volcano and jungle rolls. I have been craving sushi and finding cooked options is harder and they had so many wonderful choices! These rolls blew my mind. I have had many sushi rolls in my lifetime and am picky when it comes to flavor and ratio of ingredients and this was just top notch. They brought two sushi roll pieces on the house for me to try and what a kind gesture! I am beyond excited to come back and try more....
