Ok, so it was around 7pm, stopped there with my siblings for some good food, well, I ordered first, with my youngest brother, then the others were the next 2 orders. I waited, watched my other siblings get theirs. I'm still waiting as a couple of others get theirs before us. So I walk up and I ask what's going on. They deleted our order. They didn't apologize, they didn't do anything to make up for their mistake other than making our food. These people don't value their customers or care if you return, so I suggest going to any other kfc, because the one on Columbia ave is definitely much better. It's clean and the employees actually want you to come back.
(8/21/18) In recent times, I've come back, due to it being closer to me right now. If you expect to receive your entire order with no issues, good luck. Sometimes I get fresh food and everything is right. Tonight, they are really busy, which is unusual, I ordered a big box (tenders and popcorn chicken, side of wedges and Mac & cheese) and my sister a $5 fill up (tenders & side of wedges), the guy who took our order had a heavy accent but everything was right when he read it back to us. We pull up to the window, everything was on the receipt, we get our food, minus the Mac & cheeses because they needed to make more (got wedges instead) and head home.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD TO MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT BEFORE LEAVING!!
We get home, her order was right, I was missing the popcorn chicken and extra biscuits. The reason I'm upset is because they forgot to put these items in and I had to run back to get them, only for them to do nothing to make it up to me, no free food, no apologies, no coupons, absolutely nothing. Idk if these are new hires, idk what's going on in the company, but you guys really need...
Read moreI am giving a 1-star review for the simple reason that the store and the app falsely and consistently charges more than what is advertised. This is not just a few cents but sometimes resulting in the bill being double or more. For example, the phone app had two specials: 8 hot wings for $4.99 and 8 PC bucket for $10. I went to the store and the order was actually $5.99 for the wings and $21 for the chicken. A total difference of $12. The original advertised price for just the chicken was $11 less than the final price.
The explanation from the store manager was multifaceted.
Unfortunately, I like KFC chicken so continue to go despite always feeling that I am...
Read moreWe ordered three classic sandwiches and a fry for dinner. The cashier missed entering the fry, even though she repeated it to us on the speaker. At the window, we asked for ketchup, and she gave us butter packets. When we bit into the sandwiches, we knew we couldn't eat them. They were lukewarm, and the batter was very moist and sweaty, almost an uncooked texture. The fries were cold and drenched in oil. We returned to the window and asked very nicely if we could have fresh sandwiches and fries. I told the cashier we would just keep my daughter's, since she was munching away happily on it, meaning I would save the restaurant from having to replace that one. The cashier snarled, "Well, you can't keep the food!"
The manager came to the window and spoke rudely to us, trying to defend the state of her food. I told her I've had many KFC sandwiches (including good ones, from that very store!) and they are usually hot and crispy. "Well, this is how we always make them at this store," she argued blankly. Through the window we watched her turn and walk over to the warmer, grab more pre-wrapped sandwiches, and drop them into the bag. She returned the original fries to us, an flat expression on her face. "Here," she said, "these are fresh."
The second set of sandwiches was no better, of course. (They had come from the same place! LOL)
Even more than the gross sandwiches and the loss of money, the thing that bothered me the most was the complete indifference towards us as customers and towards the quality of their food and service.
I do not recommend this location. Take your business to a place where the manager and employees take pride in...
