Bunk's Card Corner — Local services in Mankato

So, little bit of a post, hopefully worth the read. We traveled from Kansas to Loveland, Colorado for Thanksgiving this year and it's tradition to grab sports cards from the Scheels there and open on Thanksgiving day. We normally just grab the basic boxes and hope for a decent lucky pull. This year, however was different. I saw some kids ask an attendant to help them grab some higher priced boxes from a locked shelf and this peaked my interest. When I inquired about different boxes with different names, the Bunks Box was very highly regarded and very economically priced, so I decided on one of those for this year's Thanksgiving opening. Fast Forward to being back home in Kansas. We recently got a Scheels here and I went on the hunt for more Bunks Boxes only to find out, ours doesn't carry these. Initially disappointed that I was gonna have to wait another year to get another box in Colorado, I went hunting online and ALAS! They have an online store. I ordered 2 more boxes and when I got them and opened them, my jaw hit the floor. I received a graded 10 Patrick Mahomes Season Ticket Panini Contenders, 9.5 Graded Patrick Mahomes Winning Ticket Season Contenders and several other Chiefs rookies and veterans. Don't like giving bad reviews but we spent $175 on one of there premium elite pokemon mystery boxs and was told the floor was $120 so we were fine losing some money on a mystery pack as the celling was $600! To find out we pulled a $50 cgc slab that's never been close to $100 it also came with a evolving skies booster pack so that made the total value around $70-$75 which isn't even close to the floor they advertised on it!! I just want people to be aware of there mystery packs!! I'm sure they are good people but my son was very disappointed to spend his hard earned money on a mystery box to not get even close to the floor price they advertised! He feels scammed and so do i!! Probably won't buy another product of there's!! I hope they make this right for my son but if not oh well just be cautious on there mystery boxs and you might not get even close to what is advertised!! First off sorry I'm a couple hours late on the review boys, kids were hungry you know the drill.... anywho I was in town for my wife's Dr appt, freshly getting back into Pokemon after 20+ years because my daughter surprised me and decided she was interested in it! Googled card shops near me to find out that low and behold there was one literally across the parking lot from me! :) Plenty of Pokemon from starters to sealed collectors stuff and even pristine slabs!! Not to mention the bargain bin that should never be passed up! Ooooooooo and this was huge to me, finding vintage cards like base set era almost brought me to tears! This place is awesome! Oh and don't even get me started on the sport section because that's not my forte but that was at least 2 to 3 times bigger than the pokemon side!!! We will definitely be going back when we're in Kato, and tbh we will probably be making extra trips to Kato just for Bunks Card Corner!
