Do not go to this place to get your hair done!!!! They will waste your time they do not care about their customers and itâs a joke to them when you try to book an appointment and uneducated person trying to book an appointment for some thing they want speaking to an educated stylist who canât properly play on her time schedule to make sure she can make her customers happy before they leave. I booked a multicolor to try to get a red to blonde ombre I have a full blonde hair right now but because I have a little bit of root growth she said it would take so many extra steps to get what I want so I said do those extra steps trying to also find an alternative hairstyle because she doesnât have enough time to get my hair done so now she canât even touch up my roots and at least get my hair back to completely all blonde with no roots showing because she doesnât have enough time for that either so all she had time for was to tell me what she doesnât have time for and the fact that she couldnât even get done what I originally booked the appointment for any amount of time she booked for me so she never actually intended to do my hair ever just waste my time make me take a day off of work and then make me leave unsatisfied without anything and no compensation for my time. Alter themselves couldâve offered a free gift they give them out all the time a little travel size something here weâre sorry for wasting your time weâre sorry youâre leaving upset maybe this travel size gift could help you out And make you feel better. I will never ever ever shop here or attempt to get my hair done.    Read moreI'm pretty new to going to ulta, I never cared that much about makeup but have a new found interest in it. I've gone a couple of times by myself or with my mom. The customer service was always good, a worker would ask if we needed anything we usually declined and said we were just looking and thanks. But the last time I went in I had my boyfriend along and I didn't have the same customer service experience. I was looking for a good highlighter and maybe a contour kit and being new to makeup really I looked at basically everything they had really trying to figure out what I should get. (In the high end makeup section) when I came in they asked me if I needed help, I decline bc honestly I'm pretty shy and didn't want to show my lack of personal knowledge of makeup I figured I'd just really take my time. A minute later someone else came up to me and said she had to grab a certain item on display by me. Minutes later she brought it back. A few of the workers did this same exact thing. Every few minutes. Or they would be tidying something up the next display over. Basically anything they could do to what felt like to keep a close eye on me. I honestly felt like they thought I was going to steal something bc my boyfriend(who is half Native American with long hair and looks kind of rugged) was with me. I never got treated that way alone or with my mom. So I am just assuming the difference was bc I was with him being that I always browse for a long time. My behavior didn't change but theirs did dramatically. I kept a good attitude and pretended to not notice and bought $80 worth of stuff but when I left I was actually really bothered... still love all the products. Not sure about the workers but I can...

I go there almost every weekend now - sometimes to try out new products I'm excited about, sometimes for basic beauty needs, and sometimes just to talk shop with staff and bask in the glow of all the pretty things.
Everybody is always super friendly -not threatening or intimidating- and I'm beginning to recognize their names and faces. Sometimes the guidance isn't super great (like when they're really busy), but most of the time it's very enlightening and helpful. Either way, there's always someone there to navigate me through the often overwhelming options, and it feels just like I'm shopping with friends. And this is coming from an introverted shut-in with social anxiety.
Returns are incredibly easy, which I appreciate beyond belief. I have weird skin with weird texture in a weird shade, so finally finding a foundation that works for me would never have been possible without that physical store. The testers they have readily available make it so much easier than just guessing and praying that a product will work.
And they have Fenty now! So no more need to take risks with internet counterfeits (cough Amazon cough)
