At the Chipotle in on Madison Ave in Mankato I was harassed and screamed at by an employee. I went in on my 30 min lunch break and ordered food. I ended up without a lunch and without any time to eat. As I was ordering I was told to talk louder since the person making my food couldn't hear me so I simply tried to speak to him louder and because I peaked my head around the glass so he could hear me better I was immediately screamed at for "disrespecting" him. I felt I had done nothing wrong. I was only doing what he asked me to and because of that I was the one being disrespected and harassed. He said "who the f word do you think you are" to me and I replied I am a customer and shouldn't be treated this way. He then said "he doesn't F ing care." The other employees eventually told him to leave and I ended up paying for my food and leaving. Once I left I ended up throwing the food away since it was made so poorly. The guy screaming at me put way to much of all the salsas on and a very small amount of Guacamole, which is the part we pay extra for. The chicken was burnt and there was way too many beans and not enough rice. I paid over $9 for something I ended up throwing away after one bite. So because of this experience I will never eat at this Chipotle again. The way the people hired there treat their customers is terrible I felt threatened and I should have called the police. I would definitely not recommend bringing your kids to this place. 0 stars and 0 respect for people who treat anyone this way. Read moreI just wanted to give a special shout-out to the staff at this Chipotle. My sister is a cancer patient, she is immunosuppressed with dietary restrictions. We went to this Chipotle to pick up a Veggie Bowl for her. We informed the woman and man taking our order that this order was for a cancer patient and that we were wondering if they could accommodate a few small special requests. On their own initiative, the staff made special accommodations for us that happened to be the special requests we were going to make. On their own initiative they did a glove change, arranged for a single staff member to handle making the whole order, checked that the ingredients for the veggie bowl were fresh and had not been touched by anyone else prior, and the veggie bowl was in it’s own to go bag. It was such a relief to us that such a special order with special requests was handled with such care and without hesitation. I went to the counter to order and said chicken burrito and I saw a stack of tortillas probably 6 inches high right there in front of the employee. He said were out of tortillas I said the And looked at the tortillas and he said they were for online orders and I thought he was joking so I said chicken burrito again he said tortillas for online orders only. I said are you serious and he said yeah. Whole time this was going on not a single burrito was getting Made for an online order. I said your kidding right because there isn't many online orders. He said nope so I gave him my 2 cents and Left. There is no way that is company policy. Tortillas are tortillas and there can't be some for online orders and some for Walk in orders.
