To give background, I was a pretty regular customer at one point but today I got yelled at for "taking too much" stuff. I understand they don't want people going way overboard, but I had the large bowl, took veggies and not that much meat, so quite frankly, overall I had less stuff than someone that takes a ton of noodles. They complained that I "hadn't even taken noodles yet." Well, I don't like many noodles and get very few. This is a good way to discourage customers and I was planning to tip the chefs. I'm just trying to get some value for my dollar and design my meal the way I want it. They provide the bowls and so it seems to me that it should be fair game. However I can make my meal, it should be priced correctly so there aren't issues. I don't care if I'm charged more (I shoot to get 2 meals out of it), that is fine. But when you harass a customer that tips (I ended up throwing a $5 in to the tips to hopefully make the person feel like a fool afterwards for saying something to me), I don't think that is a good way to manage your business. Considering that the next people after me didn't get their money's worth, it seems ridiculous. I've heard they are trying to sell this restaurant and probably trying to make their bottom line look better because of it (bring more money for the overall restaurant) and apparently it is negatively impacting customer relations. The other staff were nice and another fellow joked with me right afterwards but the first guy that complained made me feel pretty unwelcome and I don't think I'll return. It is sad, because the food is pretty good if you know how to make...

Went here with my cousin and it's was unpleasant.... When you walk in it's very awkward and uninviting. When you walk in the sign says to "wait to be seated" a woman with obviously false teeth comes up to us and asks "for here or to go?" Not even a hello first. We said for here and she just points over to a section and tells us to sit... So we ended up just picking a spot. We had never been there before and didn't know how ordering worked. Finally a really nice lady who also worked there comes over and explains everything to us.... while she is, the lady with the false teeth just threw our silverware and straws on the table.. so we ended up getting our food and it's was good the first few bites. It just had kind of a funny flavor, I don't know if it was the sauce or what.. we ended up getting the all you can eat dinner. The second time around I got shrimp I'm my noodles and the shrimp was rancid. It tasted fishy and not fresh. I couldn't finish my food after that... My cousin was still eating and the lady with the false teeth just came over without saying anything and took the soy sauce my cousin was using she literally had to reach all the way over the counter while our food is still on the table and grabbed it, then left. WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. I went to the bathroom before we left and my cousin payed for the meal and the same lady rang her up, my cousin said that the lady snatched her card out of her hand with force. WILL NOT...

Such a great dining experience!! My 3 kids (6, 6 , 4) especially enjoyed it. The cooks joked with them and answered all of their questions with a smile. At our request, they cracked a raw egg and mixed it in with thw kids food when it was grilled. The kids are still talking about this. Our waitress also did an outstanding job! She got the kids "special" chop sticks that were put together so they could use them properly. She even had them all try them out before she left the table and made sure to help them if needed. All of the kids got to go boxes and she explained to them how to reheat their food and turn the box into a plate. They are really excited to eat their leftovers now!! The food was excellent as well. My husband and I got the large bowls which held more than enough food and is enough space for a wide variety of veggies and meats. Tons of options to choose from to build the perfect bowl to your liking. The kids each got a kids bowl, which fit more than enough food for them and they even had another meals worth left over. Food all looked fresh, tasted delicious, and cooked to perfection. They have a nice little history lesson on the back of the menu that explains how this type of eating came about. I read it to my kids and they really thought it was neat. Excellent food - fantastic service - we will...

The Monglian grill near us closed and we had been searching for a new one for a long time - without avail. There is one other near us but it is ridiculously priced and not good. Two weeks ago we decided to drive the 1.5 hours down to Mankato to get some Monglian Grill. We all were craving it. Did not disappoint. The woman, (maybe family owner?), asked if we had been there before and then explained everything to us. She was extremely friendly to my daughters and made the experience one that will have us coming back again and again after winter is over. Prices were more than reasonable! Food was good. The woman told us to make sure we followed the recipe for sauce, that those who say they do not like the food usually do not follow the recipe. We followed the recipe. My youngest enhaled the food she loved it so much.

My family took me here as I was visiting from Minneapolis. I really liked it...I did the all you can eat version...because it was my first time and I wanted to try different combinations of flavors and foods. At this place you can just get one bowl (small, medium, or large...then you get take the leftovers if you do just one bowl....you can't take any leftovers if you do all you can eat.) It's fun to experiment with all the sauces. I ended up really liking the medium sized bowl with a variety of veggies, cilantro, pineapple, beef, crab meat, and thin noodles. For my sauce I did two scoops orange, 3 Mongolian, 4 BBQ, then I did just smaller scoops of garlic, sesame, hoisin, oyster, and plum. It's a fun and relaxed placed....I would definitely go back when I come to visit.

Tried this place for the first time and I have to say that I’m impressed. Customer service was great and friendly and there was a variety of things to put in my bowl. I enjoyed watching them cook my bowl and didn’t mind waiting. I didn’t notice that there was a sign above the sauce station and put only Mongolian sauce in mine. I was really scared that the sauce was going to overpower my bowl but it didn’t! Next time, I’m going to try some of the sauce combo recommendations! If I had the chance to come to this place everyday, I would!
