So had an incident where I was misinformed by an employee. In regards to a "new" and constantly changing circumstantial price matching policy, for a specific popular used title. I called this specific location to have it sent over to the closest store to me. The manager Ryan answered the phone and took my info. Upon mentioning the info I was given from the other store, I was met with a rude "Well Im not sure why they told you that." This caught me off guard, no apology for being misinformed, and simply told the owner would not like us price matching this title, I CANNOT HELP YOU. Now being denied something happens to us all in life. But this BRASH, BLUNT way of speaking to me was unacceptable, and as a business owner myself I will never forget this experience.

Long story short, put in a complaint and was contacted by one of the owners. I appreciated that part, and he apologized on the RUDE manager's part who seems to need a customer service lesson. And promised he would correct him. Needless to say even tho I was told the policy could be matched he still refused to make it right only offering and VERY SMALL amout off. Unlike any other store who would honor something like this. Now word of mouth travels & experiences are everything once they are shared. I hung up still feeling frustrated and having zero closure. But it also taught me to be patient, and soon this title will probably DROP back down in price anyway due to a sequel and the hype will be GONE. At that time I may go in and buy it with a smile thinking of when the price was jacked up & I got no closure due to profits over valued customers.

Over a small profit loss & misinformation on an employee's part, they were willing to lose a customer for well over a decade. I definitely will be visiting a LOT LESS. Remember WE as the customers have the POWER & if we grace these stores with our presence, its because WE CHOOSE TO, not because we HAVE TO. In this day in age competition is around every corner & you can get whatever one store has from another. Even if you have to travel a bit to another retro game store where you are treated BETTER. I would say do better, but that would only be if I wanted to visit more in the future. I definitely wont be going to the Centerville location much if at all anymore. Thanks Ryan, I know my worth in your eyes now. Along with countless people I've sent there over the years via social media, and my customers who empathize will vote with our wallets!

*Update to Owner response below.... I NEVER STATED I WOULD GIVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW IF PRICE WAS NOT MATCHED. THAT'S A LIE to save face...noticed how the response DOES NOT MENTION rudeness of manger....ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY...sorry its come to this as well. But things like this WILL come full circle regardless, especially when these items you guys hold with an iron fist DROP in price. Crazy how two faced greedy business owners can be! Our second visit of the day. After going to the Willow store we drove up to Centerville to check out this location. You'll want to look for the sign at this location because there are 2 big bushes blocking the actual store front so you can't see the window or the open sign as you walk up to the front door.

Upon entering you'll notice this is the smallest location of the three JPP stores. However it's packed to the gills with content. The manager asked us what we were looking for and after telling him we wanted PSP games he directed us to a shelf. The selection was good, however was definitely less than the first store.

This store was a little bit busier than the first location and the staff was hustling around. We actually spent the least amount of time at this location. My nephew did find 2 games and we took them to the counter. I looked at some old Intellivision stuff that was in the case which was pretty cool and then we paid and moved on to the next location.
