New to area. Went to the closest Chinese place.
Pros: price, nice person taking my order, condinents (soy sauce, duck sauce, hot mustard) is all made available to you as u go out the door.
Negatives: some parts of the order was wrong, some items were not good. First off. I was hoping for some fresh chinese. Spring rolls and dumplings are straight from the freezer. I saw him get them out. Spring roles were salty. Dumplings were bland. Store bought. My sister had garlic chicken, egg soup and fried wonton. She was fine with her food. Im questioning her standards. I got white rice with my Bean curd general tso instead of the pork fried i ordered. My dads order wasnt what i expected. Im chalking them one up to a language barrier. I thought i clearly said to him over the counter i would like crispy noodles with vegeatbles on the side. My dad is diabetic and i wanted to see if he could have some chineze that wasnt too salty. They gave me vegetables in a sauce (that wasnt too salty but just bland. I was hoping there were just steamed) and i got more white rice. No noodles. Not sure what happened on that part. I thought i clearly said crispy noodles. If there was any mistake in that 2 minute conversation we had about the differences between lo mein, chow mein and chop suey i thought i would get the wrong noodle. I didnt even get noodles. Got white rice. Go figure. My general tsu flavor wasnt bad. I only got it because my dad doesnt eat meat and was gonna let him try a bite. He liked the flavor but they were too salty. I got him 2 orders of spring role in case he didnt like his order. They were too salty. And then his dinner was wrong. and he paid for everything. He didnt get the only thing he really wanted. Some crispy noodles with plain veggies. I was really bummed.
And to top it off im sitting here the next morning with my stomach hurting not wondering if my food was bad or its just the besn curd thats very fiber rich..
Unfortunately i wont go back. I was really hoping my dad would like sme chinese so we could get some once in awhile. Bummed. Its gonna be hard to talk him into trying another. The salt level is off the scale for those who need to watch it. my dad has had 2 heart surgeries, is on blood thinners and watching his blood pressure hourly. and diabeties. I understand chinese in general is salty. But with how much time and emphasis in the discussion i had with that one part of rhe order you would think it would be right. what if it was a food alergy i was trying to explain.
If the prices were high this would have been a 1 rating.
Im shocked people rate this place a 4 or a 5. You wonder if they ever had real and fresh chinese food. We got 3 dishes and 4 appetizers.i tried 4....
Read moreSo normally, I would give them 5 stars for great food and service. But last night, I was not at all pleased with the service. I was the only customer there so walked right up to the counter to order buy no one came to take my order until the phone rang and then they answered 2 calls while I stood there waiting. I should have walked out,, but i was really hungry.. When they finally decided to take my order, the person did not thank me for waiting, nor did he thank me for my patronage. Not a happy camper. The food was delicious and...
Read moreOverall, it's a decent place with good food. Nothing exceptional -- just good compared to other Chinese food establishments.
One thing that is very nice is their online ordering system - it is easy to use and convenient, and not many Chinese food places have this! And I like the option to choose soup in the combos rather than egg rolls.
Two reasons why I decided to give 4 stars rather than 5: they don't give brown rice in the meals (you can only buy it in bulk) the Thai food that they advertise is very bland compared to...
