While shopping in the store, I observed one of your employees, whose name is Kris, treat a customer and his young daughter in an unprofessional and racially discriminatory manner. The customer politely asked Kris if she could check the price of an item for him. Instead of assisting, Kris raised her voice, repeatedly demanding to know if he was going to buy something, and refused to provide the information.
The customer remained calm and respectful throughout the exchange, but Kris escalated the situation, yelling and eventually telling the man and his daughter they had to leave or she would call security. When the customer returned with security, Kris fabricated a story and began crying to portray herself as the victim, even though multiple customers—including myself—witnessed that the man had been kind and non-aggressive.
What was most shocking was that after dismissing and mistreating this customer, Kris immediately approached another customer—a white man—and asked if he needed assistance. The difference in treatment was blatant and deeply troubling.
This was not only embarrassing and distressing for the customer and his daughter, but it also created an uncomfortable environment for every customer in the store who witnessed it. Such discriminatory and unprofessional conduct does not align with the standards of customer service or inclusivity that GameStop claims to uphold.
I strongly urge you to investigate this matter and take appropriate disciplinary action. No customer should ever be treated this way, and no employee who behaves in such a manner should be representing...
Read morei ordered a brand new elite series 2 controller for pick up at this store. the box was opened and the controller had finger prints all over it. also the pads for the back of the controller were already in the controller which it isn’t supposed to be if it was new. controller was obviously used. mad i got sold a 200 dollar product that was supposed to be new but isn’t. at least it works, but don’t order from gamestop especially this location. if it was that you guys had to check the controller, maybe wear gloves or at least wash your hands. absolutely disgusting that i found grease all over my controller. also, maybe repackage it exactly how it was before you opened it. OR MAYBE leave it up to the customer to see if the item is working. Do not waste money...
