I worked in food service for almost a decade and let me tell you, I have never seen such a train wreck of a restaurant.
The restaurant was absolutely trashed, but workers were just kind of milling about. They definitely had enough people to send someone to refill items or take out the trash, but they weren't. They were out of several items on the line. Had no chicken. Only a little bit of steak and carnitas left (like literally getting the scraps out of the pans to complete orders), only one sauce, and no veggies. The employees were like zombies and borderline rude. They were acting like it was an inconvenience to speak to us like: Just said "just so you know, we don't have this and we don't have any of that either". Cashier was just standing around and waiting to cash people out when she could have been honestly doing both the line and cashing out. No "thank you"s or anything. Never gave me my receipt.
The drink station was out of most of their lemonade/tea drinks. They were running out of silverware. Trash was overflowing everywhere, the floors and tables were trashed.
I've worked during rushes and busy times but as someone who used to manage a restaurant, I always always always made sure I sent someone out to the lobby to get it clean and tidied up. And if we were out of something? I made it up to the customer somehow and apologized for it. The staff here could care less. The pans on the line had like dried up pieces of steak or veggies in them. Just looked like no one was communicating/managing the situation.
Need some management/staff...
Read moreI love Chipotle and have to say I was so disappointed in this specific experience. They had no chicken and no fajita peppers and onions. The girl didn't even offer to get more. She just said sorry. The girl next in line was a miserable human for no reason. My boyfriend and I were unimpressed with her attitude and lack of toppings. If we were lucky she put a reason of each topping on. When my boyfriend asked for more she was rude and it showed in her body language and tone. They claim they had no dressings either............ The guy at the register was the only saving grace. ALL DINNING AREAS WERE FILTHY! A worker was on break and her boyfriend was there. His bowl looked like something you see in an and and no one else's did. Funny he had enough for 3 bowls in his bowl and between my bowl and my boyfriend burrito, we didn't even have a full bowls worth.
I know bad days happen but this was unreal. They were busy and many employees seemed bothered by it. No one came to clean off any tables and they were gross. I was excited to find a Chipolte close to my boyfriends house, but we will not be going back. He said he will drive backyard latham , NY for the Chipolte experience he had there. That was his first time eating at Chipolte and he thought that all of them would be on the same level. We were both...
Read moreI’m not one to write a negative review for no reason. I work in food industry and completely understand someone having an off day, not being too cheerful or whatever. Their attitude isn’t what I’m paying for, it’s the food. However I recently went to this chipotle on 04/05 around 10pm and the worker who helped me was very rude. It was all fine until I asked for pico de gio. She said “I can’t do that”. No further explanation, just said she couldn’t do it. I was confused but didn’t say anything, instead I decided I would get the corn mix they have. As I pointed to it and began asking, she closed the lid to my bowl and pushed it to the register. She never asked if I wanted anything else, and instead cut me off in the middle of me talking to close the bowl? It was extremely disappointing as I don’t usually treat myself. I should have just walked out at this point but I didn’t want to make a scene. I was so excited for this location to open as the other one I went to is 35 minutes away, but at this point I’ll make the drive. I know people have bad days, so do I, but I don’t take it out on paying customers and cut them off from ordering, that is so weird to me. She had a slick back hairstyle and a yellow star pimple patch. If you see her working, I’d turn around and go...
