This establishment is not in conduct with the Americans with disabilities act and is not an accommodating establishment. It has been reported to the Department of Justice. I own a seizure & mobility service dog, that is required by law to accompany me, and is considered federally as medical equipment. He has been task trained to the highest standards. This establishment, even though I advised (which I do not have to do) that I have a service dog, they charged my card (without authorization) a $250 pet fee, which legally they cannot do, per the FAQ on the ADA. I called to speak to the manager and they continued to argue with me in regards to this and said they would call me tomorrow, it has been 42 hours since our first point of contact, and now I have to resolve to bringing this to the attention of police, lawyers and the department of justice. Apart of all of that, the room was old, dingy & smelled like cigarettes. The carpet had not been cleaned and was giving my fiancé and I, allergies all weekend long. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, I’d rather sleep in my vehicle.

This place is horrible! I booked a room earlier this month to make it easy to move in my daughter to college since i live about 3 hours away and when i get there the front desk says my reservation isn’t there and he can’t do anything for me! It was 10:30 at night and i had to drive around Connecticut to find a hotel to accommodate us! And when i called the manager i got no response and her voicemail was full so you couldn’t even leave a message. So i text her and all i got was a thumbs up! Just horrible! Don’t stay here! My mistake?!?! I literally booked the room through your site! There was no 3rd party! I stand by my review you guys are USELESS!!! Love how you comment here but have yet to answer my text or call me back but continue to thumbs up and thumbs down my photo i sent you! PATHETIC!

I booked a room 1 week in advance. Got to the $h!t hole at 12:30am to check in. My room had been given to someone else. They were happy to send me to another motel and they would take care of the payment. Only issue with that was the place that they were going to pay for is a 1/8th star motel. At $79.00 a night compared to the $114.00 a night for the room I paid for. So now I'm at the 1/8th star motel as there is no other place to stay in the area as I drove down from NH for work. The place I'm staying is the Passport Motel right next to the airport, how nice. TV doesn't work, the shower head matches what you would think a 1/8th star motel would have and bouns the mattress I swear is from the 1970s. Oh by the way the Flys in you room don't cost extra.

I booked a room 1 week in advance. Got to the $h!t hole at 12:30am to check in. My room had been given to someone else. TLDR: The staff here are either incompetent or this place is trying to scam you.

In February of this year, I called the Inn on Storrs to book a reservation under a wedding block for just the night of a wedding happening in April. When I received the confirmation email from the Inn, I noticed there were multiple errors on the confirmation including my address and credit card carrier information. I emailed them about these errors, however, never received any follow-up. What I failed to notice was that the reservation date was made, incorrectly, for the day before the wedding instead of the actual wedding date. This was my fault for not noticing, I take responsibility for that. However, they also didn’t follow-up about any of the other issues that I did bring to their attention. When I showed up on the day of the wedding, I found out that I did not have a reservation for that day and had been charged for the previous day’s reservation as a “no-show.” I was told that it was an error on their part and was assured that I would not be charged a second time for that night’s reservation. Turns out, they did end up charging me for both nights, either by accident or on purpose, I’m not sure. But I was charged for both nights even though I only spent one night at the hotel and was told I’d only be charged once. When I realized this error, I sent two different emails that went completely unanswered. I then called the Inn on 2 separate occasions and was told that the manager was unavailable but would call me back. No one ever called me back. Finally, on the 3rd attempt, I spoke with the manager who basically spent 5 minutes telling me that I had completed two different reservations (I did not) and she would need to “look into the case further” and “couldn’t guarantee a refund.” She was very rude and never once apologized for the situation. This conversation happened at the beginning of June and I have yet to hear anything back. Almost two months after the fact and I have yet to receive any refund or follow-up regarding this situation. We would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, and especially not recommend it for wedding. We stayed here for a wedding in June 2022 and I called to book a room in the wedding block a few months in advance. When we tried to check-in, they could not find the reservation (despite me having a confirmation email). We eventually got our room, but it took a long time to check-in. Other guests also had this problem, causing the wedding to start late.

We got back to the hotel after the wedding around 11pm. We walked to our friend’s room who had checked in before the wedding. His key card was not working and we could hear the shower running. It turns out that while he was at the wedding, the hotel gave his room to someone else (despite the fact that he had already been to his room and left his stuff in there). The hotel did not have any vacancy so he ended up having to drive over an hour home. He never got his stuff back. When my girlfriend and I went up to our room, our key card did not work. At first the guy at reception said we could not have our keycard because our room flooded. However, after telling him all of our stuff (including needed medications) were in the room, he gave us a keycard and said we could grab our stuff. Turns out there was no flooding. There was also a guest at the front desk (not in the wedding) who had his room given away while he was out despite having stayed there with his family for over a week.

Several of the other wedding guests ran into similar problems and ended up having to drive home after midnight, despite having rooms reserved. No additional accommodations or discounts were offered, and no one received an apology. I have never experienced such mismanagement from a hotel.

Stayed on 4/18 rented two room 109 and 111 third time staying there all three times major problems but this time most exasperating.

When I booked two rooms asked for second floor. My daughter got there before me they told her no rooms near each on second floor which I had requested at booking

She was brought to two rooms which were in satisfactory and smelled

Then brought her to 109!and 111 Key didn’t work previous problem we had in past

She went to desk got another key

Room had no extra chair to sit on in 109 had a precarious hassock

When I got there to 111 no chair some kind of midget chair

All nite laughter in hall

Heat noisy and banged all nite

Got up took shower no hair dryer I was freezing hallway freezing Went to front desk she told me she me she would look Went back she said she didn’t have one I had to wait for housekeeping to come in Went back again and she said did u look here and there u said yes so she said she would come with me No hairdryer where she thought but should be she was baffled She left meanwhile I was freezing she finally opened another room and I dried my hair there this was a proud of three v hours I have to say she was courteous and tried but she was all alone doing job Of 5 people Where was the owner he could of at least been there to help her

Rooms were very clean but at 72 I donot need that aggravation no one Does U want to be compensated for my miserable stay. My relative has at least 6 events coming up and if I donot get compensated for the unsatisfactory rooms It will be worth it to pay more and stay elsewhere Sincerely Gail Labranche 978?761 8680 I had to close the accounts this was charged on someone stole my credit card...
