I usually don’t make reviews on anything because I feel like it’s rude but I HAVE to talk about how bad my experience was bc it wasn’t okay at all. So, I come to target a bit late around 8:30pm or so it’s no big deal target closes at 11. I’m looking for steampunk goggles because in October the renaissance faire is having an event, plus I wanted to look fancy for my dnd group and I want to prepare for Halloween early. I see that target has Halloween decor out already I’m excited I walk inside and try to find the item on my own. Unfortunately I had no luck finding it and think that’s okay, I’ll just ask an associate! I try to find an associate but nobody is nearby in that section I go across the store and finally find two by the checkout line. I politely go up saying sorry to bother and ask where I could find this item. For context they were in fact not busy at all and talking to each other. The first woman…stares at me strangely and gives me the dirtiest look. She asks me what is that? I try to explain to her that it is a costume item, that steampunk goggles kind of look like cosplay glasses, old Victorian fashion, that can be Halloween decor but I didn’t get to finish explaining as the second women tries to actually help me. I try to repeat what I was looking for even provided an image to both of them using Google first, then the target website, which shows target provides it. The first woman then looks at me with absolute disgust on her face, the second looks confused and slightly laughs at me, the first women did absolutely nothing didn’t even try to help me. The second looks at the target website image I provided scrolls down to find the id code to put it inside her device and gives me more info saying that it isn’t in stock, they just don’t have it yet then she searches it up on her device it gives zero results and she shows me. That’s okay if it isn’t there and isn’t in stock. It’s okay if you don’t know what that item is. What’s not okay is giving a horrible attitude to a customer and and acting super rude after them just asking to find an item. I tell the second woman that it’s okay and no worries. Im glad that she gave me info. Then I walk out of the store and take my business elsewhere. If the store doesn’t have it there is no reason to blowup or even get angry at a worker. They are a human being. I walk out, no anger. No arguments. Just wanted to leave my review about this horrible worker. I then drive to Walmart. Can’t find the same item. I walk to the stores dressing room and find two workers. I ask one of them behind the counter where the same item is at the same way. Without hesitation she walks pointing and and then talks giving me clear directions of where to find it. She doesn't look at me like I’m a weirdo. Doesn’t treat me rudely. Doesn’t laugh at me. Lastly doesn’t give me dirty looks. Shoutout to that Walmart worker girl you are a lifesaver and you were very polite and kind! I found exactly what I...
Read moreOkay, so I'm a big fan of Target and especially on how they pride themselves on customer service. This location was a HUGE disappointment. As someone below mentioned, anytime after 9 pm and the staff is ushering you to get out of the store even though it doesn't even close until 10 pm. I came in to exchange some PJs for a different size. Asked the guy at the customer service register to scan it and see if they have any in stock. He said he doesn't know and that I should go look for it myself. Okay, fine I did, no big deal. So along the way I picked up a few extra items I needed. Went to check out in the regular lines and my cashier was some young teenage boy with no sense of customer service. My mom was with me and she had lost her target card and was wondering if he could look it up. His response "No, I can't." That was it. So I said "uh... Well how can she look it up since she doesn't have it with her?" He said to call the exact store she applied at and tell them her card is stolen and then they can replace the card. Like, how is she suppose to remember what exact store she opened up the card at? It's been years! So I asked if there was a number she could call. He fumbled around and show me a number from a brochure. Didn't offer to write it down or anything so I just had to take a picture of the number with my phone. Anyway, after dealing with his cluelessness, I went back to customer service to exchange my PJs. The girl whose name was Tatiana was so rude and acted as if I was bothering her even though the time is only 9:30. They still have 30 minutes before closing time. I also forgot to scan my cartwheel deal at the register earlier when I checked out with the clueless teenage boy so I asked if I could scan the cartwheel deal here since I was already at customer service. She acted annoyed and was rude and slamming the cash register. She said my cartwheel deal had expired. I had to read to her that it didn't expire until next month. And then she practically threw the money refund in my face. Excuse me? Here I thought I was a paying customer. These employees need to get a lesson in what "customer...
Read moreI sit here in the parking lot at my local Target in Mansfield, TX, annoyed enough to write a review. I spent my requisite 1.5 hours just wandering around the store finding things to buy that I didn't intend to buy. Halfway through I recalled that I had some items in my car to return. So, after I was done shopping I brought my full cart to Customer Service and left it there while I retrieved those items. I returned quickly, and the woman behind the counter returned one item using my RedCard, and another 2 items using my ID. When I began adding items I planned to purchase on the counter, she looked at me strangely and asked if I also needed to return that item. I said no, that I also had some items to purchase. She pointed at the self-checkout and said that I should bring my items over there in case a line formed behind me. I glanced over my shoulder and saw not a one person behind me or even in the front part of the store. After all, it's 10:30 on a Wednesday morning. So, I had to load my items back into my cart, bring them 10 feet away to a self-checkout and check myself out. Not sure why I am so annoyed, except that I've always been able to make a purchase at customer service if I also had items to return. Also, having worked retail, I would never have inconvenienced a guest because I didn't feel like doing my job. During the few minutes I spent checking myself out, not one person entered the store or walked up to her counter. So, may I humbly suggest that Target encourage its employees to not request a customer go and check themselves out when it doesn't take anything to assist a customer in a third transaction when you've already assisted her with 2 at that very register. Very disappointed considering I've always gotten great customer service at...
