**EDIT since there is not a button for me to reply to the owner. I DID reach out to you via Facebook messenger, before writing this review on Google. At this time, it still shows as read but there has NOT been a reply to me directly.
Other than calling the number I spoke with Peter at, there is no other number available to me to contact you. I already k we I was getting nowhere with Peter, so why call back and convince him to put me in contact with you. So, I messaged you privately on Facebook- and still no reply (as of Tuesday, Feb. 6th at 5pm. Additionally, it appears Peter did not fully fill you in on the entire conversation that led to my frustrated comment. I am happy to fill you in.
I do not understand how you feel itâs appropriate to call out MY EMPLOYER, when this matter has ZERO to do with my employment. This was a personal order, on the weekend, OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL HOURS. This did not happen on district property. Naming my employer appears to be a retaliation move, by you, because of my review.
If you would like to contact me directly, by responding to my message sent directly to the owner, I would be happy to speak with you. We have not asked for anything other than this situation to be rectified. You have obviously done research to locate my employer, so Iâm sure you could see on my personal post that I said, we do not want anything from you, other than acknowledgement and for your employees to do better in the future.
We ordered Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ Mansfield, TX for my husbandâs birthday dinner. It was the WORST EXPERIENCE!!!
Normally I donât blast businesses on social media, especially new businesses. (Even my 11yr old son made a comment that âmom doesnât get upset when our food is wrongâ)
Things that were wrong:
*Order took an HOUR to be prepared (no they werenât super busy, there were only 3 tables of customers there) - however, we were patient and even tipped.
*Once we got the order home, we noticed that we were missing most of the toppings for the hot dogs & sausages that were ordered. No mac for the cheesy mac dog, no brisket or other toppings for the Crave Supreme. No onion, tomatoes or sour cream for the nacho dog.
*we ordered 2 orders of sweet potato tots, but received 1 order sweet potato tots and 1 order of limp COLD FRIES!
*the jumbo beef dogs were not jumbo at all, they were skinny and were so overcooked that they were wrinkly and âCRUNCHYâ. Hot dogs are not supposed to be crunchy! (See pic)
To be fair, the Mac N Brisket bowl and monster pretzel were actually good.
I called to give them an opportunity to make it right. I could hear the employees discussing that I wanted to speak to a manager, then one said âIâll talk to themâ. Peter got on the phone, and I asked if he was a manager he replied âum, Iâm one of themâ. He said he wasnt sure what he was able to do to help me. He asked me to âcall back laterâ to see if he is able to refund me. âŚUmâŚI thought he was the manager. I declined to call back and told him I would hold while he figures this out. He offered for us to drive back to pick up the missing items. This would mean our toppings would be placed on cold food. (Cold and overcooked, dry, crunchy hot dogs). He did end up refunding our money, only after a ridiculous telephone conversation.
This is so upsetting. I really wanted this to be great. We have been so excited for yall to open. This was so beyond, grand opening glitches.
Peter did not seem to even care how poorly handled our order and subsequent severely messed up order...
Read moreThis the third day in a row that I have been here for lunch. Day one Trio Tacos and Chili Cheese dog. The tacos were served with flour tortillas. Healthy portions are delivered in each taco. You can request corn tortillas. Gluten free options are offered across the menu. The Chili Dog very filling and had a lot of flavor. I knew I was eating a quality dawg. Bun was hearty. It held up to the chili and did not disintegrate. They offer a wide variety of dogs that I will come back to try. Day 2 a dozen wings, 6 plain & 6 Buffalo. The wings and many other items are cooked in an air fryer. They were crispy bit not greasy. Morticia suggested I sample the six sauce that are offered. I surprisingly pleased. All of their sauces are good and the Gold Sweet and Tangy is fantastic! I ate so much of their sauce I barely touched the Blue Cheese or the Ranch. Today I had a bratwurst with Relish and Mustard with a side of beanless chili and cornbread. The cornbread melted in my mouth. It paires well with the chili. I wish I had taken a picture of the Bratwurst. Covered in relish and dressed with mustard. First taste was awesome. Probably the best bratwurst I have had in years. Then I dressed it a second time with Gold sauce and took it to the next level. The food is as good as it looks on the menu. Crave can be a great place to hangout,Polite staff, family friendly and great food. Come by and...
Read moreI wanted to love this place. I really tried, but it was so bad the food was inedible! Forget that their Beer Wall wasn't working. I didn't worry about their throwing lanes being chained up either. We went for Hot Dogs! Unfortunately, the buns were hard and stale and more like dried plaster (maybe they forgot to add water to the bun warmer? These buns were dry cooked). Then, the beef dog was so overcooked it was rubber! Thick, really tough, chewy, rubber. Too rubbery to chew and swallow. It was just awful. The sweet potato tots were thawed and then not really cooked. No texture other than thawed mush. The cashier and servers were sweet kids. They tried. There wasn't any recognizable leadership directing them though. How can this place serve food so poorly done? Street vendors have figured hot dogs out for generations after all. I've never had one so bad before, anywhere, at any price. This experience was about as coordinated as a bouncy house, mid bounce. I really wanted to support them locally but OMG this food was unacceptable. Just no excuse. We tossed ours in the trash and politely left...
