I’m so glad Bonita was very short with me and definitely not a good listener because I found a better apartment with much better amenities such as a pool, courtyard, etc in south orange. I didn’t even get to see the apartment because she just assumed the range I was looking for. She wouldn’t let me speak. I’m paying much more where I am now but it’s worth it because she shouldn’t be the first person someone speaks to when looking for a place to live. She also said that she would reach out to me at the end of the month and I never heard from her. Location is everything because one doesn’t get that type of treatment in better areas. Thank you Bonita for saving me from renting at maplewood crossing.

Thank you for your response but that’s simply not true. You did have apartments that fit my criteria. My criteria was very simple. 2 bedroom or a 1 bedroom if it was spacious enough once seen. Price range over 3,000. I own a home myself, and I know about looking for tenants. My point is that I didn’t even get to explain what I was looking for because Bonita wasn’t listening, and rushed me off of the phone. Obviously, I don’t want a resolution but an awareness to the forefront of who prospective clients have to speak to once contacting your community. This is my first apartment after some 55+ years in our own home. It has been a completely positive experience. I attribute this to 3 key factors. 1) Bonita G.', the manager of the complex, is peerless. NOt only does she complete her responsibilities with seemingly little effort, but she is always cheerful, courteous and warmly responsive to all who cross her path. Knowing that you will receive a warm welcome whenever you encounter her is priceless. Especially for someone who was no longer accustomed to living in an apartment as opposed to a private dwelling. in addition she is always go ing way beyond what might be expected of her. 2) The responsiveness to the maintenance crew to requests for repairs, etc. 3). The other residents whom I have encountered have been universally friendly, courteous and non-intrusive.

My girlfriend and I were looking to upgrade where we lived and we found Maplewood Crossing in Maplewood. We were sold on moving into the Maplewood Crossing Apartments after our first visit. Our apartment is beautiful, full of useful amenities, and in the perfect area for us. Moving during the pandemic posed some challenges, however the staff at the complex was more than accommodating!!! They have done everything possible to make our move super easy. They took time out of their day to answer all of our questions quickly and promptly. They were completely transparent during every step of our moving process. I also love how easy their tenant portal is to use and navigate. We are still getting settled in, but we cant wait to take advantage of the amenities in the complex and enjoy the neighborhood and some of the nearby...
