From the minute we walked into American Furniture Warehouse the experience was so incredibly different from other furniture stores in town. Nobody followed me around like a car salesman, pressured me to buy or tried to add on a bunch of extra cost via added warranties etc. literally they just welcomed me in and said if you see something you want just get anybody in a red shirt to help you. We walked around and bumped into Fred he was a salesman but felt more like a friend. He showed us a few pointers to help our shopping experience and then walked away. We were not even really planning to buy but my wife found exactly what she wanted and the prices were so low probably the lowest in town. We decided to buy the 2 pieces a few hours later. Here is what was so great!!! I just texted Fred (the great salesman) he sent me a bill. I paid it and picked up the pieces a few days later. I did not even have to go back. We had went home, measured to see if it would all fit, thought about it for a few hours and made a nonpressured decision that we felt great about. We did not even have to drive back. I texted Fred for a few pictures and he sent them and texted him again the day of pick up and he texted me everything I needed to know. I have always hated furniture shopping in Tucson but now I look forward to going to American Warehouse Furniture if nothing else to see my new friend Fred! Oh yeah, when I picked up my furniture it took like 15 minutes and their guys loaded it and tied it down. (Picking up furniture at the other place in town was always a hassle and often took hours, plus they always seemed mad you were there) Thanks Fred and Thanks American Furniture Warehouse for have a much better model for sales and your customers. It seems they have brought back great customer care Plus your furniture comes with a year warranty at no additional cost....
Read moreI have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and it's employees! The prices are unbeatable. This was our last stop on a day of couch hunting and I'm so glad I saved the best for last. This place is huge! However I knew the second I saw my couch that it was the one (Remington sectional, I absolutely swear by it!) What I aplreciate the most was the employees!! They're stationed all over the store and every time we passed a station, we were greeted, asked if we needed help, and then they left us alone to browse in peace!!!!! This was so important to me as the other furniture store I came from, I asked for space 3 times and the guy still followed me around and butted into our conversation multiple times. It felt extremely invasive.
Finally after trying every single couch, we went back to the couch I first saw and I was greeted by Phuong! She is the best!!! I loved that she sat with me on the couch, went over my options, helped me design my space and pick the best pieces, and most importantly listened and didn't try to heavily upsell or push things I didn't want! I felt like I was sitting with a friend. Next thing I know, I have a delivery planned in 2 days! Ordering was super quick and she even gave me a hug before we left. I love her and will specifically look for her next time I go back! I cannot imagine furniture shopping anywhere else. The vibes are just immaculate. Everyone was so genuine!
Delivery was so smooth, ahead of schedule, and the delivery guys were so kind and respectful!
I was finally able to get the couch of my DREAMS!!! It looks and feels so expensive and fancy that no one believes me when I say I paid under $2k. Read moreIf I could give them zero star, I would. Worse experience ever! I bought a little over $3,000 worth of furniture. I had many horrible experiences: I missed the first delivery by 10 minutes even though the store policy stated that the delivery should wait up to 15 minutes. When I finally got through to speak with customer service to re-schedule and pay for a new delivery ($144), the lady decided to cancel my entire order despite the scheduling system having issue. I called again and spoke with another patient agent and finally got to schedule the needed delivery. But because my order was previously cancelled, I received the refund on the delivery. Four days later, I realized the store refunded my initial amount but withheld $288, which is twice the delivery charge. They lied to me stating that delivery team came twice on the original delivery date. This was a clear lie because I only missed the original delivery by 5 minutes and stayed home all day. I drove 45 minutes to go the store. The customer service manager accused me of having the furniture despite getting the refund. The manager hesitantly told me she will refund the additional $144 charge on the first delivery. She didn't process the refund correctly and so I never received the fund after five days. Five days later, I called corporate, I was told to wait another five days for the refund. I waited until yesterday. when I called the store, the agent I spoke with told me the latter person I spoke with earlier gave me a store credit without my consent. The last customer service I talked to said I should get my refund this coming Wednesday. At this point, I don't believe anything I hear from this company. If I don't get my money ($144) back, I think my last resort to get the law involved. WORSE...
