UPDATE: two and a half hours after leaving this location we took our phone somewhere else to see what they had said, but I also asked them to see if the parts he claimed he replaced was actually replaced. The new shop said that the parts were the original parts so not only did this guy lie about things, but he didn't change the parts like he said. I feel like I need to bring this up to the better business bureau for investigation.
Whatever you do, DON'T EVER COME to this location!! All this owner/operator is good for is taking your money. Hussain will "claim" he can fix the phone, but he is no good at anything other than sitting around. I think their main source of sales is their phone cases.
Let me preface this by this he had told us that if he couldn't fix it he would return half the money, nothing else. Nothing to the tune of oh if I have to order anything aftwr looking at it the 1st time,he never made any additional terms known.
We brought our son's phone in to get it fixed he claimed it was one issue and claimed he could fix it. Mind you we had to chase him down to find out that the part came in, that is another issue in itself- his LACK of communication is embarrassing for a business.
You HAVE to stay on top of him as he will not call you and let you know that a part has arrived or they've got done looking at the phone. A tricky way to let the 7 days lapse.
He looked at it one time said it's not the issue he thought, then he ordered another part. So when we went back, after again having to chase him down about information,he went back on his word and refused the other half of the total we paid which he promised as a refund.
Needless to say after two "ideas of what he thought the issue was" he didn't get the phone fixed, nor did he refund like he had stated when he had spoke to us, I feel that his conversation and what he said acted more of a spoken contract that trumped this refund policy. I also think this is shady business practice that he didn't keep the communication to let us know when the part arrives. For all we know it could have been a delivery issue. I feel like he knew that within 7 days that he was free and clear to keep the money instead of having build a better business relationship and honoring his word. I don't know anywhere else where a company is allowed to keep your money for a service they didn't perform. I could take this phone anywhere else and not get charged for somebody looking at it! And that's all these people did, claiming they could fix it and they didn't and now they won't refund us.
I grew up in a world where if you're a man your word is your bond and apparently he doesn't want to hold his bond like a man.
So again I implore you to find your services...
Read moreI was trying my best to not post a review but this company completely ruined my phone. Unreliable scheduled: I called in to get my iPhone 13 Pro Max back glass fixed. The guy I spoke to said he could do it that day. I drive 20 minutes to the Walmart just so he can tell me the technician who was supposed to do it is not available. Understanding the situation I scheduled another day to come in Unreliable wait time: The day I got my phone fixed he told me it would be an hour I came back and the phone wasn’t finished. I asked how long it would be he said 30 minutes. I came back 30 minutes it’s still not finished. Before I left I made sure everything on my phone was working, the flashlight was not. I informed the tech he said I must’ve had problems with it prior. Knowing that I didn’t, I requested him to fix it if it did not start working on its own in the next 24hrs. After 24 hrs I called to inform it wasn’t working. I didn’t get my flashlight fixed until the beginning of December after going back and forth with the tech believing I was going to buy another $1K phone. Cheap product: within 4 days the glass near my camera had cracked and the case I bought from them were said to be speck but it is not. The protective screen has smudges and scratches within a week of having even though the box says otherwise. Within a few weeks of my service the back completely shattered despite having a case and dropping it on a carpeted floor. Around Christmas I notice my phone being very slow to charge fast to die using boxed charger(battery health is 88%. Apple considers 80% to be replaced). Also, my phone was lagging so much causing me to not be able to use my camera or other apps. Today 1Feb, randomly, I got a notification stating that camera was is non genuine. Meaning they switched my camera out and it makes sense why my camera has been randomly shutting down and lagging despite having well enough phone storage on the device. I will NEVER come back to this company and I learned my lesson to never trust anyone with my device other than Apple. I hope those who want their devices fixed read this review before going to this company. Though the customer service is 2/5 the service’s done on the device is even worse and you shouldn’t trust them with...
Read moreWas waiting for out of town visitors at the Mall to go to Crayola Experience when my grandson notices iFix and asks to get his mini iPad screen fixed. It was 11:30 AM when we asked how much and how long. We were quoted 45 minutes and $64. We agree and tell him we will be at Crayola. About 2:10 PM we came back, they had a long line, we approached the guy we left it with and see he is still working on it. We decided to all go get something to eat. We return about 4:15 PM they charge me $64 but while waiting I noticed the home button didn't work. They stated the screen was defective and that they could replace it. I sad no we can't stay any longer. I asked for a refund, the one gentleman says he would have to call his manager. So I walked away to browse their cases. I come back about 2 minutes later to ask again and the man says the other technician is replacing it...I walked back to the door to tell the guy to just give it to me because we live in Ocala and cant wait, he says he already has the screen off so we wait about 40 minutes. I have a broken T12, I need to get home so I tell him to just give it to me, the repair guy throws a black plastic clamp with orange tips right at the wall within inches of me...hard. I said wow that is uncalled for and the hot head comes rushing at me in a very intimidating manner. I asked his name he said none of my business, I told the guy up front what he did and that guy says I should leave because "we" were being disruptive???? meanwhile this goon starts in on my husband, the whole time I am backing out of the store and trying to get my g'son out. So now we've wasted hours, $65 and the iPad no longer works, they never had my permission to open it back up the second time. Steer clear, they have poor technical skills and NO customer service skills, and I am pretty sure they must be hiring folks with violent records because the guy was beyond anything I have ever seen. I called the police to file a report and had it not been for the long drive back to Ocala I would have pressed...
