Went in for grooming yesterday for my Australian Shepherd to Cortaro location. Horrible. How do you give a negative. Dog was there 6 hours!! Was told 3 to 4. Went in at 4 hours 15 minutes because received no call. They were short staffed but both times I went in the grooming manager wasn’t even in grooming. They hadn’t even started grooming him at 4 hrs 15 minutes. She said give me 30 minutes. I said I don’t want a 30 minute hair cut. She chopped him up and didn’t brush at all!! No brushing out the Ausie coat!? Was she trained to cut or they just plugged in someone to grooming? He’s an Aussie! Undercoat much? Got home and brushed him for like 2 seconds and had a big pile of hair. Trying to post pictures of his cut and non-brushes hair. She gave me %20 off and asked for a tip!? Are you kidding. I didn’t know how bad it was because I had dinner plans and after 6 hours I couldn’t wait anymore. It’s sad. She also told me it took so long because there were walk in nail trims. I’m sorry but I had an “appointment”!! Doesn’t that take president? Why even make an appointment? I have had great experiences before at different locations. I can’t tell you how horrible it was. If I hadn’t come in at 4 hours and 15 minutes would they have forgotten about him. If they did nothing at all, it would have been better than what I got. I paid $44 for this. I don’t leave reviews unless it’s really good or really bad. She sat there and tried to explain away the horrible service. It looks like she shaved him all chopped up, which I specifically said not to do, just to finish in time. If corporate doesn’t refund, I will not be going back to this corporation for anything. Horrible....
Read moreI appreciate the convenience your company offers through both online and in-store shopping. However, I've noticed some opportunities for improvement that I believe could enhance the overall customer experience.
First, there seem to be some pricing inconsistencies. For example, when purchasing items online for in-store pickup, I've noticed that sometimes the in-store price is actually lower than the online price, even with the online discount applied. This can be confusing and discouraging for customers who expect to receive the best value regardless of purchasing method. Additionally, I've observed that certain items are listed as “not in stock” online, but are available for sale when I visit the store in person. There are also differences in pricing for products such as fish and other items when comparing online shipping with in-person purchases, and some products cannot be purchased online for pickup at local stores.
I believe these issues could be addressed with improved inventory control and ensuring that staff are available to assist customers when needed. Providing consistent pricing and clearer inventory status would greatly improve the shopping experience.
I hope these suggestions are helpful, and I am happy to discuss these concerns in more detail if that would be useful. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I look forward to seeing positive changes that will benefit both customers and the company. My BEAUTIFUL Tangs Are PETCO...
Read moreI come here all the time for crickets. Today I go and they have the cricket order but the chick working there tells me I have to wait 1-2 hours before I can get crickets so they can put them away. Just open a box, dump them, and get my crickets bagged. It’s not that hard. The lady last time did it no problem. It’s obvious when an employee is lazy. I’ve worked at two different pet stores, did cricket orders at both. I’d dump over 20k crickets twice a week at one of them and it never took me two hours to do so. Also, if a customer asks for crickets I’d always dump the size they need and get their order and carry on with my work. I’ve worked for Petco and it was the same protocol there and there cricket order is maybe a quarter of what I had to put away at the other pet store. I explained to the lady I live half an hour away, I have a newborn, and while in over 90 degree heat my cars ac stopped working and my car was overheating, with my newborn in the car. I wasn’t about to wait an hour or two and I wasn’t about to come back into town for crickets. All she said was “sorry ma’am.” Do your job, put the crickets away, and fill the customers order. I wouldn’t be reviewing so low if I hadn’t gotten fish that gave my whole tank ick and killed off most my fish previously. So this isn’t the first annoyance...
