I usually donāt review places negatively, but I think this place could use some constructive criticism. First, the staff was really not helpful and didnāt offer samples or even try to make a sale. I have a business myself and I would have not loved to see them ignoring customers. Second, the ice cream my brother got was a strange recipe that was actually salty. If you have a weird flavor and know it, offer a sample first! I didnāt believe it, so I tried it and it was indeed salty. It was a caramel ice cream with walnuts and a caramel swirl with oatmeal cookies. Avoid that one. Itās really weird and salty. I got the strawberry. It tasted great, but I started to find bits of fat in it that were like lil hardened pieces of crisco. It was really unpleasant to suddenly have your mouth coated in fat and at one point, I had difficulty swallowing a particularly large piece of fat. I thought a professional ice cream place would know how to avoid buttering ( when milk fats separate due to over churning). Anyway, I liked the store itself and the vibe. But the staff need more training on customer service and they need to taste every batch that goes on the floor so mistakes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ice cream here is sooooo good. My mom and I MAY have stopped here like three days in a row while parked in Tucson during a road trip š . The best part about this place is that the flavors are so unique (hence having to stop by three times to try them all). One stand-out and must-try is their Sweet Cream Honeycomb ice cream, which was unlike any ice cream I've had before, and is made with a sweet cream base and crunchy bits of house-made "honeycomb" made from local honey. So unique and so delicious. Our efforts to sample all of the unique flavors were helped by the option to get an ice cream flight, where you can order six mini-scoops for about $8. The prices aren't the cheapest at just around $4 for a kids scoop or almost $6 for a single scoop, but it's worth it. Do be aware that many of the flavors are chock-full of tasty bits of honey, cake, toffee, etc. and are very decadent and sweet, so you might try a sample before committing to a whole scoop if you're on the fence about ultra-rich flavors. The guy who helped us two of the three times we came in and told us more about the flavors was really helpful and nice. Will definitely be back when we're...
