Went to pay with the Kohl's Pay App. I attached my offers in Kohls Pay and showed the QR Code in the App to the cashier. She scan the QR Code and continued to checkout. She asked me how would I like to pay. I said you scan the code so Kohl's Pay. She said the only thing that does is it loads your rewards. I said it is called Kohls Pay. She said it only loaded your rewards and if I wanted to use my charge card is to swipe it. I said I don't have my Kohl's Charge Card on me because I have Kohls Pay. My wife stepped in with her charge card. After checkout I said why doesn't the app work. The cashier said I can talk to customer service, so I did. Customer Service agreed with the cashier that it only loads my rewards and I had to select Kohl's Pay on the sign pad and hold my phone over the pad for Kohl's Pay. I thought to myself wouldn't this activate my Google Pay? I left thinking to myself I will uninstall the Kohl's App because it is useless to me and the app says to show the QR Code to the cashier to pay with my store charge card which is obviously incorrect. When I got home i watched a video on Kohl's website and it said all you have to do is show the QR Code to the cashier. Can't wait to try it next time. Kohl's cashiers and customer service should know how to use the...
Read moreI visited Kohl's today to return an Amazon purchase that was very large and wouldn't be suitable for the UPS store. Bad news first: The return for Amazon is all the way at the back of the store. People who return Kohl's merchandise do so at the entryway. Good news is that the associate who processes the Amazon returns is friendly, sharp, and knows how to be efficient as well as positive about the experience. Best news is that after returning the huge, awkward item, we were attracted to some sale items that were sorely needed. Great prices on awesome much-needed clothing. It was fun to look at all the great bargains and not be pestered by salespersons trying to make commissions. It was even better to have a cashier invite us to come to his register so that we didn't have to wait. He had spontaneously noticed that the other cashier at that location was getting busy and came right over to offer his services to the "next in line". It's very easy to overspend in this environment where savings prevail in every department. It's wonderful that one can find deals on things they really need and not just want! That's magical. Kohl's is on my definitely will...
Read moreThe store is always clean and well-organized, and customer service is always kind and helpful. However, the clearance sections seem to become more cluttered over time (understandably so). I'm leaving 4/5 stars due to the fact that the prices have only been going up exorbitantly in the last few years -- a simple shirt might cost you upwards of $50 now, when it might only cost $5 to make them, plus some extra to distribute. In addition to this extreme inflation, the sale prices are nowhere near as good as they used to be. Now, it seems that Kohl's is marking up the prices on all of its brands and products and offering sales and discounts and clearance prices that are equivalent to or still higher than the actual price. Kohl's, please bring back your affordable prices and REAL sales to compete better in your market sector. Your competitors are looking like better options for more and more of...
