The Filipino Store — Local services in Marble Falls

I can't just trash this place, though I really want to REALLY demolish this 'store'. The cold reception out of the two in the corner of the shop, disturbed from their phone and laptop - couldn't be helped to warmly saying hello, let alone not the kind of energy you want making any kind of food. So no to the boba.. Then the store in its DEAD SILENCE, with the two just staring as you invaded their space. I wanted to really gander, but I wanted to leave more. Luckily, they dont have much, and I had some cash to pay for their overpriced ramen noodles. Shame, because as someone familiar with the culture of the Philippines, this isn't a good representation of it. But I suppose any representation is...

Not so much a Filipino store, it's more of a general asian snack food store with some cheap anime figures and posters of stolen fanart

Maybe this is my fault but I expected it to be more like a asian market with a focus on Filipino products, this is not it, most of the snacks are stuff you can get from a international food isle from a grocery store for much cheaper

The place also lacked any atmosphere and the floors felt like they were falling apart but they through carpeting over it

We were in the area visiting friends, and this place caught our eye. Excited, we went inside and kindly greeted the people sitting at the register and were met with silence before the young lady replied with an awkward hello. That coupled with the absolutely quiet atmosphere made it feel completely unwelcoming. I didn't feel like I should even ask about the Boba, so I grabbed a couple of things, paid, and left. Needless to say, service left a lot to be desired, which is a shame because a cute place like this has the potential to be a fun...
