Office Depot — Local services in Marble Falls

I gave Office Depot a Zero, but the lowest rating I coud provide was 1. I had a map enlarged and the resolution was unreadable. The digital map on USB drive had adequate resolution to provide the enlargement, but the Blueprint machine used provided a copy that was unreadable. I had to pay in advance, and they would not provide a refund, I ended up throwing the worthless copy away. Unacceptable, because the clerk knew that Blueprint copy machine would not make large readable copies, but still required me to pay in advance, with no refund. I will not recommend Office Depot for any copy needs, look for a better vendor.

Update to this review: After several contacts with Managers from Office Depot, the local store manager gave me a call. He indicated that my original map was printed on a higher resolution printer and that I could pick it up at the store without additional charge. The higher resolution printer was much more expensive in cost. If they had told me that up-front, there would not have been an issue. Office Depot wants the customer to place orders on-line, and that process does not adequately address these kind of issues. Garrett in the printing department was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful. I came in to the self service printers and one was down and the other was malfunctioning. Before I could walk out in frustration, Garrett stopped the job he was working on and approached me, to offer his assistance. He took over the print job, and got back to the 3 or 4 print jobs he was already working on, upon my arrival. Checked out multiple customers, while never missing a beat. Garrett is one heck of a juggler, never letting a task hit the ground. I have used office depot for 30 plus years, and I have never had such exceptional service from any employee. Regardless of the state or city i was working in, needing office depot services. Let the song "I've been everywhere " by Johnny Cash play and you will have a better idea of how many cities I used Office Depot. I am not disparaging Office Depot, today Garrett did such an excellent job, I felt compelled to write my very first review of an Office Depot. Garrett is not at all what I have grown accustomed to expect from a Office Depot employee. Way to go...
