Marshalls — Local services in Maricopa

This is one of the BEST Marshalls I’ve been to. I’ve worked in Upper Tier retail management for years, so when I shop, I catch on to certain things quickly. Not that I’m searching, but it’s just something I’m trained to do lol. I have to give this store credit, whoever is in charge of merchandising is INCREDIBLE! I was in this location about 3 days ago and the merchandising was TOP TIER!!! After working in retail for so many years, I don’t like to spend a lot of time in stores, but I could browse and shop in this store ALL DAY! Besides the merchandising the store is very clean and the customer service is AWESOME! If the company gives incentives for certain things, this store definitely deserves a reward! They have what it takes to drive sales UP, because they will get money out of me every time lol! Keep up...

My wife and I visited the Marshalls location in Maricopa on a Thursday afternoon. There were a number of other customers shopping at the time, but not overly busy. There was barely any line at the checkout counter, so clearly the staffing was sufficient for the amount of customers in the store at the time. My wife browsed different clothing and underwear items and I followed along with the cart. This store mainly sells clothing, but also sells luggage, housewares, snacks, and various miscellaneous items. The prices for the clothing are reasonable and the quality is good. Horrible experience with manager named Kathy! I called about a return and asked to speak to a manager as I wanted to get correct information. She answers the phone very rushed and completely rude and told me that I had the front end and they could’ve answered this!!! Obviously I don’t work there so how was I supposed to know this?!?!?! Her time must be so precious she can’t take the time to speak to us lowly customers…..the ones paying her salary after all!!!! The rest of the conversation was just as bad but I think you get the idea. I’ve even contemplated inquiring about employers on a part time basis but NO THANK YOU would I ever work for a person...
