UPDATE : MAY 14, 2020
WE'VE BEEN BACK TO CULVERS NOW MANY TIMES... AS IT WOULD SEEM THEY JUST NEEDED TO GET IN THE SWING OF THINGS, WE'VE RECEIVED GREAT SERVICE EVER SINCE...... WHO CAN REALLY FAULT THEM FOR THAT..nobody is perfect... Especially at something new....but i can definitely say that they are new no more - dont hesitate to head on in there.. And grab some delish food....The butterburgers are so good its criminal..... So so good!
Initial review:
The food is good but the service is not. We have gone twice to Culvers and have yet to receive our entire order. The first visit we didnt get the right size meals and the ice cream was missing from the kids meal, pretty minor, especially when compared to the second visit.
On the second visit we ordered another kids meal and 2 bacon deluxe burger meals ... We received the correct kids meal and the correct drinks, then a plain double cheeseburger with mushrooms, and an order of chicken tenders.... When asked if we wanted a receipt we declined but were given one anyway which is no big deal but makes the entire situation almost laughable because whoever put that order together literally may as well have done it with their eyes shut and ignoring any and all instruction, as the actual printed order that was put into the bag in no way resemble the order in which we recieved. It also solidified to us at least that there was no miscommunication between us and the person taking the order, that part was 100% correct... But when it came to bagging and delivering the order ....THAT person dropped the ball big time. All it would take to see and to fix that problem would to be to simply LOOK at the receipt/order ticket and at the contents of the bag its being placed... If they don't even come close to one another take the extra 30 seconds to re-bag the order with what is expected to be there.
We called on both occasions to report the issue to the manager who said his name was Jose, and were told both times that we would receive vouchers from the owner via the mail. The 1st time we did in fact receive said vouchers and in pretty speedy fashion.... I cant say the same for the second time as we have yet to receive anything and its been about 2 weeks...
I can't say that we'll be back to Culvers with any certainty, because although the food is good, and the people are nice, paying for food that you never actually get is lame and highly overrated, not to mention frustrating and disappointing. On top of that, waiting for the management/owner to make it right - and follow through with what they had said they'd do is just as irritating.
Long story short- good food.. Terrible/...

I dined in a week after my last visit and ordered another mushroom Swiss burger with fries, paying extra for additional mushrooms. Unfortunately, I had to return to the counter to request the extra mushrooms I paid for. Despite having nearly 20 staff members on duty, more than half were idle in the drive-through area, neither assisting customers nor cleaning. Only about five employees were actively managing the store, and the manager was not among them. My order ID was AAAYHMBGAEDW at 6:33 PM on 6/22/24. Overall, I'm not impressed 😐
I recently visited Culver's and ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger and mashed potatoes, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
The Mushroom Swiss Burger was extremely dry and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, there were only four small mushrooms on the entire burger. Given that mushrooms are a relatively inexpensive ingredient, I expected a more generous portion—at least ten mushrooms, considering it's the star of the dish. The scarcity of mushrooms made the burger feel incomplete and failed to deliver on its promise.
The mashed potatoes were another letdown. The container was barely half full, which was already disheartening. However, the biggest issue was the taste. The potatoes tasted old, as if they had been sitting in a warmer for over ten hours. This resulted in a stale and unappetizing flavor, far from the creamy and fresh mashed potatoes I anticipated.
Overall, this experience left much to be desired. I understand that times are tough economically, but cutting corners on simple, inexpensive ingredients like mushrooms is not the way to maintain customer satisfaction. Based on this experience, I would not order the Mushroom Swiss Burger or mashed potatoes again from Culver's. It's disappointing to see such a decline in quality and portion sizes. I hope Culver's takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to ensure a better dining experience for...
Read moreThis will be at least the second review I've done of this particular Culver's. Last night I bought a family fries size fries and ask specifically for extra mayonnaise packets however when speaking with the manager Ivan, he told me I could only have 5. I told him this was feeding a family of four and they would like more than two packets a piece. Ivan said I could pay for more mayonnaise packets and I asked him could I please have a few more and he said no and thay he was sorry. I repeatedly asked him a few times kindly and he again said no . I thought he would change his mind and be a kind manager however when he brought the french fries I asked if he had given me a little bit more and he said no. I questions him at that point about customer service, being a manager and making his customers happy. I told him I managed and gave much more than mayonnaise packets to customer at times. I would go above and beyond to make my customers happy as long as it was in reason. I told him but he had nothing to say about it. He told me he could get in trouble if he gave more mayonnaise packets so I asked him who will know if you gave me a few more packets? He couldn't answer that either. At this point I just thought wow he is a poor manager just for the mere fact of his customer service qualities. I told him that I will remove myself from the club and you will no longer see me nor my family members in this restaurant and I will share this information with other friends and family. What a disappointment. Shame on Culver's...
