This normally would have a five star. I went the day before my baby shower to relax and my pedicure was AMAZING. My Gel Manicure on the other hand was not so great. The manicurist that did my nails seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. It was very uncomfortable, I had to have a tray on my lap to hold the light and because of my pregnant belly it kept sliding off. Even with seeing what’s difficult time I was having trying to balance the tray, she didn’t even try to help make me more comfotable. The manicurist didn’t even notice that the light wasn’t even turning on when I put my hands in it. So my nails weren’t even drying before she put another coat on. When I mentioned it she said “oh I’m sorry I wasn’t even paying attention.”. Even after that, I had to keep pressing the button on the back to make sure the light would come on and that my nails were drying. When I was almost done another customer came in requesting a manicure. The manicurist that was working on me was asked to go work on the other lady as soon as she was done. She customer then requested someone else to do her nails and manicurist said in front of me, “oh that’s ok, I don’t even want to work today anyways. I went out last night and I have a really bad headache.” She proceeded go ontalking about how her boyfriend is very jealous. I was shocked that she would say that in front of a customer. I just feel that this is very unprofessional. . After I left I noticed that the nail polish had bubbles in it and it didn’t even go all the way down to my cuticles. It was less than a week and my nails started to chip. I have had a gel manicure here in the past and it was amazing. I was incredibly disappointed this time around. I will go back because I like the shop, but I will defiantly be asking for someone else to help me...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for a year. Service has always been great and I’ve enjoyed all girls that have worked on my nails. Recently and the past 4 manicures, the nail polish has started to peel within the week of getting my nails done. I don’t work in any harsh conditions. I have them 3 chances before I spoke up. This last time I said something because not only have they raised their prices but it seems like the quality of gel product they are using it’s obvious that it’s not good. When I addressed it to the manicurist at the front I asked if I could only get my pedi and have my mani gel nail color removed and that I did not want to get another manicure, I pretty much I wanted to take a break from wasting money on my manicures. She proceeded to tell me that they did not offer removal services and that if I had it removed I would have to get a manicure again. I was upset that she was giving me no choices when it was obvious that their work and product did not meet my expectations. Anywho, I ended up giving it a try one more time because my gal said that if there was an issue to come back and they would fix it. I should not be coming back for one, and two I will not be coming back because I don’t want the other girls or owners to give me a hard time when requesting to just remove my polish. I’ve attached pictures of a one week after...
Read moreWent in to get dip polish removed after the 1st reopening. The young tall girl who is fluent in English stated I had to get a manicure. I agreed, not knowing they were going to gouge me for 30 dollars. I only got one coat of clear polish. They also convinced me to get a protein polish because my nails had been damaged. The girl did this whole spiel about it costing more on Amazon and my not being able to get it there since out of stock. I started to pull up Amazon to check, but felt weird since I typically trust people. They charged me $30 for that clear protein polish, so $60 when I expected to pay maybe $5. I did check Amazon when I got home because I was very unhappy with my experience. They charged from $28 up....for a 2-pack!! I wouid have been ok , just would never return, except the girl lied to me and pushed a service I did not need. She had also said to me that dip polish was worse on. Ails than gel, but said the exact opposite to another lady who came in while I was there. Great place to go if you want to interact with dishonest business people who will say whatever they think you need to hear so they can price gouge you. Anyway, I usually don’t give negative reviews. They have to...
