Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Marina

I am not a person who writes reviews online, at least negative ones, but this i wanted to share ans hopefully the higher management sees it.

Blaze messed up on one of my Pizza's in 2021 and gave us a card for free pizza that was as a complement instead of the original order. Time pass by quick and here we are me and my wife wanted to eat Pizza and remembered that i had the card with me. Walked in to the place, the crew gril was super delightful, diligent and kind, but when we went up to the cashier and handed him the card, he pointed that the card expired couple of months ago and refuses to use it. He asked us if we know the manager's name that gave us that card, seriously? Wanted me to remember someone was ringing me up for a pizza more than a year ago? Then when i said it was a gril, he said we don't have grils as a manager!! Implying that I was lying .. I asked for a manager and he said he was the one on site today ( 1/8/2023 5 PM ) We reasoned that we really don't often buy Pizza from blaze and that we will appreciate if he can honor the card, yet he strictly refused. By now, our Pizza is almost done and we were like, so you would rather throw our pizza in the garbage? He bluntly said : yes i do! What a stupid unprofessional below the ground customer service quality! It was my fault i didn't get the name of that manager I will NEVER EVER go to this place when they hire such people not trained on at least being professional with they way they talk...

Attention Mod pizza lovers, this is the same concept where they build a pizza in front of you, but the crust is even better because it is structured and yummy. Immediately upon stepping in, we were greeted with multiple hellos and welcome in’s- that always makes an experience better from the start! After they had put my pizza in the oven, I realized I hadn’t added the crushed garlic and I briefly mentioned it to my boyfriend next to me. The employee heard me and immediately offered to add it and insisted on it which was so kind. As for the pizza, it was delicious- I had a vegetarian pizza, the roasted broccoli topping is the best. The bathrooms were impeccable which made for an overall great experience (p.s. to the girls: there is no mirror!). One of the best parts was the design of the place, as well as the atmosphere. The tall ceiling and windows made the space roomy and “fresh”. The chill indie beachy guitar music made us feel like we were relaxing by the beach as we watched the sun set through the large windows. As for the seating, there are many option. My favorite were the booth tables because there was a comfy back rest (pictured) and were clean. Shout out to the 7pm crew for being friendly, hardworking, and overall...

We walked in around 8:30pm. There was about 7 employees. I only saw 3 actively working. The young guy in glasses assisted us with our order and was really helpful and nice. We ordered two 11in and one 14in. We were unaware the 14in is an online item only. We found out because as were paying the guy who was rining us up made a comment&then another girl who was doing absolutely nothing but standing around blurted out what had happened. So then, another guy asks about the situation and says he will go tell "him" (referring to the guy who helped us). In my opinion I believe that was completely unprofessional and could have been talked about when there was no customers. I left the location feeling sad&angry because if I would have known, I would have placed the order online & could have avoided the situation for the young guy who assisted with my order. Also, there was a line about 6-8 customers behind us and yet it was still just the same one guy making the pizzas and like I previously mentioned that was the inappropriate time to inform him considering he was the only one actually working on the line...
