Starbucks — Restaurant in Marina

We always have a great experience at this location. We go by regularly, if not daily, and get drinks that are not stock drink items as myself and my husband are both former partners of Starbucks, so we definitely order more difficult drinks. We are always greeted with a friendly smile, regardless of who is working at the window, but Brandon and Luis are our absolute favorite. They always goes above and beyond our expectations, and are the most friendly people we've met since moving to Seaside from Texas this past March.

The parking lot is not the most friendly for waiting in line at the drive thru, and I can only imagine how packed it would be if most of the businesses in the area were not restricted due to COVID. However, this location does a good job of pushing the drive thru line through at a decent pace, and we've hardly had to wait longer than 10 minutes in line with 10 cars...

I came to this Starbucks at 12:25 pm on Friday 10/17/24. The girl that was making my drink was wearing a shirt that said 1971 on the back. She proceeded to dip her thumb into the sipping portion of my drink twice and it was disgusting. I don’t know where her thumb was and i definitely don’t think her doing that act without cloves was appropriate.

Thank fully Ana Marie listened to me and remade my drink herself. I appreciate her being so proactive otherwise I would have needed to escalate this matter.

Please please please write the woman who put her thumb in my drink up . She does not deserve to have a job in food if she thinks it’s okay to...

It's been a long time since I've had any coffee blended drinks from Starbucks. The coffee flavored syrups used for their frapps have a chemical taste to them and most times I enter a Starbucks I smell burnt coffee, so I tend to be leery. But twice in the same week I tried two different drinks: an iced mocha and an iced caramel macchiato. Both tasted like burnt coffee and nothing else. Once upon a time, Starbucks used to serve great drinks. But in the last decade or so, corporate decisions have affected the quality and taste of their drinks. I'll be sticking to their breakfast sandwiches and passion tea lemonade...
