I went to purchase an Xbox and was very disturbed by the store manager. Upon entering, I wasn't greeted and was never greeted until I approached the counter after browsing about 10 minutes. In these 10 minutes, I heard the store manager (Justin) directly badmouthing two of his female coworkers. He was LOUDLY discussing these two women to his other coworker behind the sales counter. He said that he was nervous because they were "acting weird and avoiding him." He seemed extremely paranoid. He said they were "those type of girls." and his coworker was apparently uncomfortable discussing the topic matter. He continued to rant and name these women multiple times (I'll keep their names private) and say they were "going to tell on him about something and get him in trouble." I was highly alarmed, and his agitation/ fear of being found out was apparent and palpable. This made me very uncomfortable and creeped me out in every way. I felt those women weren't safe, and not once had he displayed any type of management skills/ behavior whatsoever. Speaking disparagingly of your employees is one thing, but doing it to a coworker in earshot of the public is absolutely unacceptable. It's obvious he was nervous about some behavior he had displayed catching up to him, and I hope this finds corporate and they handle him appropriately. As a pro member for the last 5 years, I won't return unless I know something was done for these girls. I will be reaching out to...
Read moreI like gamestop in general. But I'm sick and tired of gamestop as a whole as far as selling open products as new. I went to this gamestop today to pick up a game that I couldn't find anywhere else. They told me the game was new But it was open for display. Now does this make sense "yo gamestop I bought this game off of you all I did was take it out of the shrink wrap but it's still new can I have my full refund back?" I think I would be getting a big NO because in their eyes it is not new because I opened it! I think I just made my point. The game I bought was very cheap but I could sell it online for triple the money for example I could have made a $100 Off of the game that I bought today that is if it was still in the shrink wrap. So I guess what I'm saying is just because they say it's new doesn't mean it's new. Plus it was all sticky and had all kinds of finger prints and stuff all on the case and things of that nature! Listen gamestop if you guys want to display new games then display them behind your counter if you are afraid that someone's going to still it! Other than that the service was OK. But gamestop needs to stop opening products and selling them as new you don't have to display nothing most gamers know what they're coming in their for and don't need to see a display Box the only thing that should be displayed...
   Read moreIncredibly unprofessional.
We were making small talk with cashier as we were leaving. Made a non political joke and the older man with blue eyes I believe his name tag said Justin made it an incredibly political argument and said the r-slur in said political commentary.
I hope I do not see him there again. I am fairly mentally delayed and have been harassed for a long time with that word and to see it so casually thrown in a professional setting where neurodivergent people frequent is incredibly disheartening.
My partner and I were disgusted and both agreed when we got into the car that that behavior was appalling. I don’t care what you do in your daily life but to respond to a silly joke to bring politics up vaguely and say a slur is unprofessional. Wasn’t even...
