I’ve been here a few times and the first two I came here I was greeted with the worst customer service I’ve ever received and normally sonic allows you to pull into a booth and order your food but they said they weren’t taking any orders there and they could take my order in the drive thru…..
Well time has passed and I decided I would get me and my fiancée a treat from sonic and we just mobile ordered it from our house and drove there and expected it to be done. Well on the app it gave us a time it would be done and we gave them some extra time to have it done, app also says to pull into a booth and let them know you have a mobile order. So I pull into a booth and push the button and I’m just greeted with someone yelling.
“We’re not taking orders here right now you can order in the drive thru and they just hung up or stopped talking to us however that works.
So I again press the button and she starts to yell again we’re short staffed we can take your order in the drive thru and I just politely said I have a mobile order and the app just said park here and they said name? I replied stall number? I replied okay someone will bring it out hangs up again. And now I’m a very patient person and we’ve been waiting 10minutes already after the expected time for out order and we notice a DoorDash person parks next to us trying to find his order and more time goes one and still waiting for our order. And I press the button again and they repeat the same thing over and over again “we’re shorts staffed we can help you in the drive thru and I just say I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes now and I just want my order or a refund so I can leave and the person next to us waiting for DoorDash is mad cause he’s waiting too and he gets out and ask the drive thru person what’s going on and they reply with someone’s bring it out , well 10more minutes go by and someone finally brings out the DoorDash order first before mine and sure enough sonic gave them our order cause I push the button again to find out where our order is and they’ve given the wrong order out so now I gotta wait more for my order which was 2 shakes and a pretzel twist. So about an hour later I’ve had enough and ask where is my order you guys keep ignoring me I can see in my mirror has I’m talking to them and they’re just sitting their laughing and making faces at what I’m saying through the speaker. After all the experience I will absolutely never return to this location such horrible customer service, I’ve been to DQ and a kind of cars wrapped around the building and into the street and people inside and I’ve gotten out way faster than I ever have at sonic and they’ve never had a...
Read moreI love Sonic and eat at the Polaris location and Grove City Oh location frequently. This Marion location is one that I will never return to though. Our family stopped through here when we were passing through on our way up north. My son ordered a French toast meal and the clerk asked him if he wanted tots or fries, it was breakfast so he said tots. We got up to the window to pay the bill for the four of us and were handed our food, not thanked, or even told to have a nice day or anything. My husband pulled around to check our food and we noticed that we were shorted an order of tots. Being that this isn't a restaurant that you can walk inside of, we had to get back in the line of cars in the drive thru to wait to get to the window. Once we arrived at the window, the clerk asked us what we wanted (how is that for a welcome customer service greeting). We told her that we were shorted a tot and she said that we were not as the French toast meal did not come with a side. We asked her why she asked which side we wanted then if it didn't come with it. Her response was simply that it doesn't come with a side. She then said if we wanted tots we had to pay for them (pretty much as rude, direct, and snotty as she could be). We said we would pay for them and she made them, handed them to us through the window, and closed the window (not a single peep was said). no sorry about that, or that thank you, or have a nice day that we didn't get the first time either. This is not only one heck of a terrible girl to be working customer service but poor management not to properly train their staff how to act appropriately. Although we didn't mind paying for the tots, the proper thing to do would have been to apologize for leading us along incorrectly and giving us the tots at no cost. Read moreUnfortunately, we were waiting for our food for over an hour because, allegedly, the "owner" was there and doing whatever he wanted to. Finally, when one of the employees gave us one basket and four drinks, she claimed she'd be back. We waited for 20 mins for her to never come out, we called them, got sent to a voicemail box that, to no surprise, was full. We finally went through the drive thru, and told them we were missing all four of our sandwiches. Same woman from 20 mins ago comes around and tells us to pull around, we do. We get to the window and we see the "owner" messing around in the kitchen with a younger looking employee, he came to the window, asked us what we wanted. We told him we were missing the four sandwiches. He had the guts to ask how WE were the ones to loose four sandwiches, he asks for the receipt, we give it to him, hoping he would stop fooling around and actually give us our sandwiches. We are already waiting for a solid 40 mins, another 20 goes by before he comes back to the window and tells us it is gonna be another HOUR before our food would be done. We wait another 10 mins before the younger woman comes to the window and hands us our four burgers. When we finally got home, our slushies weren't slushies and the fries and tots cold. The burger I got was sloppily put together and my friend had a long hair in his fries. Someone NEEDS to go in from corp and straighten the employees up and fire that "owner" that was fooling around. Never going here again, would rather eat McDonald's everyday instead...
