Kroger — Local services in Marion Township

I was at Walmart waiting in the pharmacy section for over twenty minutes and had hit the customer service button multiple times and so I left and went to Kroger and got the item I needed lickedy split. Then I went to the beverage aisle to pick up a drink . This is where I met a gem of an employee. Jim had recently suffered a stroke. Aside from that, here's a guy with exemplary attendance. Thing is his co workers that don't have such a great attendance record and who would perform at a lower standard enjoy the exact same raises that Jim gets . I mean here's a guy being and doing as an employer wished most employees would be and do and yet there's no sort of benefits ,pay raise ,anything that sets him apart from a lesser employee except right here is a customer that took notice, here is a customer who quietly observes then personally engaged the man in conversation. I'm serious Kroger...if every employee you had performed at the level this man performs and paid attention to details at that same level. I’ve been a customer at the Kroger in Marion, Ohio for over a year, and unfortunately, my experiences—particularly at the pharmacy, have consistently fallen short of expectations. Most recently, I visited to check on a new medication and was disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy. Although there were at least four staff members present, not one acknowledged me or offered a simple greeting. I understand that pharmacy teams are often busy and under pressure, and I don’t take that lightly. However, being completely ignored and shown no recognition as a customer is difficult to overlook.

When I eventually asked if someone could assist me, the pharmacist, Hailey, responded in a dismissive manner, which only further underscored the lack of professionalism I’ve encountered during prior visits. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to make the decision not to return to this Kroger pharmacy. I will also be reevaluating whether to continue shopping at this location overall.

I genuinely hope this feedback is taken constructively, as every customer deserves to feel acknowledged...

Pharmacy and staff are absolutely amazing ! I tried to switch over to Meijer for the Mperks with RX . I quickly switched back after fighting with their pharmacy. The ladies always take care of me they are so so kind and patient and they always have smiles in their faces. I will just say it is so refreshing to have that interaction in today's world , just a smile and a thank you have a good day goes a long way ! When I switched back and told the girls in the pharmacy my horror story dealing with Meijer pharmacy and that I would never switch away again ! Thank you Krogers and thank you Pharmacy staff for always being top notch ! Management take notice and make sure these staff members are recognized !!! They 100%...
