Walked into 75% off clearance, got a bucket list item for less then $15 retails normally 49.99 and up with only 1 small scratch! Fixed scratch with some paint I already had. What a win. Our cashier was really friendly as well. Exceptional now-a-days anyway, but they were SLAMMED, she had to call for backup cashier's 3 times before anyone was able to come. She remained friendly, helpful, attentive the entire tie-even when people's attitudes were spiraling. (It's a documented fact that Karens typically have hearing & speech comprehension skills directly opposite with their level if annoyance. So absolutely the cashier should be restrained as should H.L. ee's bcz she had to wait for no reason & nobody noticed. She was unaware that the current customer's card wasn't reading in the machine properly & while handling tech support & therapy for the customer, the second a customer came up behind me (4th total incl the lady paying) she missed not a single beat and called for backup. However Karen was not happy and didn't like that her comments-louder w/each repetition-were not getting attention (i worked retail for almost 20 years, they didn't warrant employee attention, also the only one who could have given it was the one she was being sparky about & she was giving great service. Also, your staff was busy. We went through the bulk of the store & didn't pass 1 employee who wasn't busy-and not just stocking, with customers. Not just because ppl were asking, employees were asking if customers were doing ok). So, great service, found everything plus a bonus all done with smiles from all but Karen during a random stop at an odd time of day as Holiday product set up was being done! The only neg about this trip is my dumb self lost the receipt so I don't have our awesome Cashier's name! If I never worked retail, I'd think she was great. Having work retail, I know she's so much better...
Read moreWe regularly purchase from Hobby Lobby for our small business, and every time I visit, the staff cutting the fabric allows my white fabric to pile up on the floor when it's being cut. This time, my husband managed to catch it before it landed. He ended up having to roll it as she counted the yards we needed. I can imagine Hobby Lobby doesnt train their employees to dump the fabric on the floor while measuring to cut. There has to be a better way. My husband than asked if we could have the cardboard bolt to store the fabric at our shop. The employee, Kimia, angrily ripped off the sticker and threw the cardboard bolt at him. I was shocked . She always seems upset whenever we see her. We spend a lot of money here and come in alot. She has never been pleasant over the years. Her attitude makes me not want to return. PLEASE INSTRUCT YOUR EMPLOYEES NOT TO LET WHITE FABRIC TOUCH THE FLOOR AND NOT TO THROW THINGS...
Read moreVery warm in the store. So it could have been a better shopping experience. Found several nice things. But, it seems every time I'm there they have only one person manning the cash registers. Several of the workers were stocking, and I understand that. But when you have people lined up past the main aisle, someone should have jumped in to help long ago. There were 3 people, 2 guys and a young girl, stocking right by the registers. It's really amazing anyone had to even ask them to pitch in when it was quite obvious the one cashier was getting overwhelmed. The young girl jumped in to help, which she had an injury to her arm, but was clearly alot more willing to help than the two young men that sat on their butts on the floor stocking! Sorry H. L. but you need to step up your game. We need a...
