Panda Express — Restaurant in Marion

When my kids and myself can agree on a place this is one we can agree on. In the last week we have had dinner here and I have came for lunch too. Dinner we ate in the restaurant and it was clean,staff was helpful and nice. We didn’t have a long wait inside so that was a plus with kids. Lunch time was little busy and I did do the drive through but, I had a little bit of a wait chow mein had a 5-7 minute wait. With it being busy inside and outside I understand the wait. Overall food was hot and delicious. I got the “new” spicy shrimp for lunch and it was spicy but yummy. For dinner I got the sweet honey walnut shrimp and chow mein definitely being my favorite. I also tried the spicy beef also very delicious being a top favorite. Kids got orange chicken, rice and noodles and they loved it. Only thing they wished eas different was that the l chow mein noodles could come without the veggies and be an option. We all got crab rangoons those were not my favorite but not bad. I have now had a couple of bad experiences from this location, and they have just barely been open. Tonight I did a mobile order because u didn't have time to sit and wait forever. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:15. I didn't even get there until 7:18 and they tell me we are waiting on chow mein. I'm thinking no biggie I can wait a few for it. Finally 20 minutes later, still no food and when I finally found a girl to ask for a refund because I have to get my child home and in bed(the reason I did a mobile order) and she calls me rude as she walks over to her manager. Then she tells me my refund will process in a couple days. Not realizing that was her dismissing me I was still standing there she then turns and says what? You still want the food too? I told her I was just waiting on a receipt and she snaps that I will have an email shortly. Had I been rude, this interaction would have been warranted, but I was not rude for simply wanting a refund. I never normally leave a bad review but the past five times I have came to this Panda Express. I have been nothing but disappointed it seems like they do not have sweet-and-sour sauce which is frustrating but I understand with what’s going on in the world why that might happen. But what does bother me is that each time I’ve come they do not tell me the right total at the drive-through speaker then when I get up to the window they tell me a completely different price which what can you do at that point they’ve already handed you your food. I am very in disbelief that this place is still open I much prefer to spend my money at an actual Chinese place. I don’t think there is an actual manager who is on duty because literally everybody in there is a child and acts like such very unprofessional.
